This house has been in my family since 1985. My parents bought it when myself, and then later, my two brothers attended the U of M. After we all graduated, my parents were ready to sell. My husband and I could not bear to lose this house so we purchased it.
The Owner purchased this house in 1985
We love Missoula and this beautiful craftsman house. It is our home away from home. Since we are not in Missoula year round we decided to make it a vacation rental so we can afford to keep it and share it with others.
The location is perfect. We park our cars when we arrive and don't need to use them again until we leave town.
This house has the perfect location. Our car never left its parking spot. The house was comfortable and clean and cool despite temperatures in the 90's. It has all the amenities needed. Clear instructions on getting in and expectations. No complaints.
My husband and I lived in Missoula when we were in grad school. We decided to revisit, and searched for houses in our old neighborhood so we could relive our glory days. Lucky for us, no concessions had to be made when we picked this property. The house was spotless, the convenience of a washer/dryer allowed us to carry-on rather than check bags, the kitchen was great, the neighbors were friendly, beds were comfortable, patio was great, and everything was... well, perfect. When we come back, we'll definitely stay here.
The description of this home is accurate, it is a well maintained and clean property, communication with the owner was excellent and easy. I would definitely recommend this property to friends/family.
We came to Missoula for the Missoula Marathon and this home was the PERFECT fit for our needs. Located only blocks from the race start/expo and other events as well as conveniently located to a variety of restaurants. The front porch was the perfect spot to watch the race participants as they neared the finish. The home itself is well equipped with new linens, lots of hot water, nice TV in the living room and fully set up kitchen. We even made good use of the BBQ in the backyard.
This was our first (hopefully not last!) trip to Missoula and we couldn't have picked a better rental. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we could have needed. Sitting on the front porch was an enjoyable evening experience.
The location could not have been more perfect! We were within walking distance of downtown restaurants, farmers markets, and local stores. We even rented bikes a block away to see more of the town.
Overall, we don't have one complaint about this home and hope to rent it again in the future!
From the moment we requested a 4 night stay in this lovely house, every interaction with the owners and every minute of our stay was 100% positive.
The home is in perfect condition and just beautiful. Lots of hardwood and original fixtures. It's in the perfect part of town and you can easily walk around the block for coffee, pizza or snacks. There's also a gorgeous park within walking distance.
We were new to the Missoula area and really appreciated having a folder with all of their recommended restaurant menus to browse through!
Having access to laundry downstairs & a grill outside made it feel even more like home. Couldn't have asked for more!
Charming, clean, comfortable & awesome location! We rented this for UMT graduation & it worked perfectly. We could walk to campus easily, and the house was close to restaurants, downtown shopping, surfer watching, and the farmer's market. Most importantly, it was close to the Big Dipper for ice cream! The property managers were very good with communications & made everything simple. Would definitely recommend to others & we'll stay here again!
