"great house! great location! so nice to have a kitchen and areas to hang out! Thanks, Mary Smith *Loved Pizza Research Institute!"
I've stayed at a number of properties, and this is probably the best yet in terms of provisions. Coffee, spices, full set of kitchen appliances, toiletries. Makes it truly feel like a home away from home. Nice restaurants and stores close by. Recommend checking the cabinets when you get in so you'll know how much is available. Unfortunately, it had a strong smell of tobacco smoke that bothered two people in our group quite a bit. I give 5 stars anyway because the owner really can't help it if renters disregard the rules. Would definitely stay again if we need 3+ BR
I love this home because it is a home! Close to awesome restaurants and every thing you need. Can't wait to return!
Everything about this rental was easy. The house had everything we needed and more, including a great location. Carolyn was easy to work with and quite responsive. Her place is highly recommended. JT
This cottage is an absolute gem with everything you could possibly need provided...clean, with comfy beds and rooms to find privacy if wanted or large enough for a fun family reunion. The statement of my 3 week stay was that everything was "5 minutes away" and that was pretty accurate, whether it be a shopping mall, civic center, theaters, grocery stores, great food and drink.
The owner has created a place that feels like home the minute you enter...we cooked, enjoyed wine and champagne outside in the back garden patio, tended to our laundry...and basically enjoyed Eugene and the coast from our little piece of paradise. Look forward to coming back again and certainly recommend to anyone who wants a homey rather than confined hotel atmosphere. Thanks for creating a wonderful place for an "escapee" from Los Angeles.
We stayed in this home, just my husband and me, as we enjoyed some of the action at the Olympic trials. It was just as advertised, very easy walking distance to many good places to eat and easy driving distance to major activity centers. I can't think of anything we needed through the weekend that we didn't find in the house. Sometimes we ate in and sometimes we ate out and either way we were perfectly accommodated. We would gladly stay again if we find ourselves back in Eugene on a quick trip without our travel trailer.
Carolyn has seen to every detail and every need a guest could need. Every room is creatively decorated and the kitchen has everything we need to prepare meals. The private master bedroom and bath downstairs is wonderful for us.We have stayed here several times and it is now our go-to house when we are in Eugene.
