Good location, house needs attention
I was a little nervous to stay at a home with no reviews. I'm writing an honest review to help the next guests out. The location was within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Fremont, which was nice. However, the entire process of booking a staying made it feel like this is a house managed by a 3rd party as an investment, and it hasn't been well done. The home was low key gross. Boogers on bedroom walls, walls were filthy all around. Urine by the toilet on the walls. Floors were greasy. It felt cheap, all the furnishing were ikea or that quality. The sofa leg wiggled so we couldn't use it. There wasn't really a good spot for our family of four to relax in the evenings together.
The check in communication was spotty. I wondered if i was being scammmed prior to actually getting in to the house because I wasn't given the code or told when it was going to be sent. The shower door was in the master closet. The washer and dryer advertised in the listing were in a locked/deadbolted room not available to guests.
This townhouse could be nice if it was deep cleaned, had maintenence issues addressed and had a better management company.
