Felt like home away from home

  • 5 of 5

Nice location and a nice condo. Clean and cozy. We were hoping to rent bikes, but it rained most of the week. We were able to walk to the Medici Cafe for coffee most mornings, despite the rain.....lovely walk through a neighborhood of great homes, and saw wild parrots along the way. The convenience store next door had a decent selection of wine to satisfy our oenophile habit. My only wish, would be for fluffier pillows.

Great place with great view and lots of character!

  • 5 of 5

This is a great place in the heart of Austin. Walking distance to good restaurants and Zilker Park. I loved the view of downtown Austin from the balcony. Umlauf Sculpture Garden is definitely worth checking out and it's just down the street.

Awesome mini vacay

  • 5 of 5

Excellent location, easy walk to my favorite jogging trail on Town Lake and Barton Springs Pool. Condo was perfect, tiny home away from home. Very clean and spacious, loved our stay.

Awesome!

  • 5 of 5

Came for my nieces birthday and decided to stay for SXSW.

Cons:

Lots of stairs.

No full length mirror.

SMALL (but I must note that I did not have an issue with this, my husband who is very tall and did not pay attention when I was speaking with him about the condo, felt he was to tall for the condo). But the upstairs shower did start to feel small by the end of the week.

Pros:

Location! We walked everywhere. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the Barton area where Shady Grove and Austin Java are. Less than 5 minutes to Barton creek. The location was unbeatable.

The bed was comfy.

Fully stocked (Ladies, there was even a hair dryer and straightener).

$6 Über to downtown if you don't want to take the 30 minute, beautiful walk over Lamar bridge.

Sean was easy to get ahold of and answered all my questions with no issue. (This was our first HomeAway booking!)

The little mini mart next door has essentials, even beer and wine.

The View was great!

Would use again if my hubby isn't with me just because he felt a little claustrophobic as a tall dude.

Great location, cute place!!

  • 4 of 5

Cute place, a bit dusty, but relatively pretty clean, fully stocked with everything you need from plates, silverware, toilet paper, coffee maker, full size fridge, microwave, Apple TV, four flights of stairs so you have to be strong enough to carry luggage and groceries, not easy to bring luggage up to loft bedroom because of spiral staircase, but once you get up there, it's nice, it's great that there's a bathroom up there, you definitely don't want to go up and down that staircase at night! Water pressure is very poor but that means you just have to go take a swim at Barton springs pool!! We were close to a lot of things but glad we had a rental car, but uber is also quick and convenient! We had a great stay, neighbors we met were very nice, quiet safe neighborhood!

Cute and comfortable

  • 4 of 5

This condo was great! It's cute and comfortable and really affordable. It was clean and cozy and so close to tons of things to do and see. And the view from the balcony was amazing at night. You can see the capital dome and the clock tower all lit up. My correspondence with the owner was prompt and polite; very easy to communicate with. Also, having the market next door was super convenient. Try the breakfast tacos! Overall my stay was great and next time I'm in Austin I would stay here again.
