We love, what I like to call, the Great West of this Greatest Nation. We enjoy living in Arizona and raising our family here.
It's been a dream of ours--a peaceful place surrounded by beautiful trees. This place is ideal for us because it's close to shopping and necessities.
From the first time we drove up to the Wright House, we knew that we found something really special. The floor-to-ceiling glass looking out onto the trees. The profound quiet and the beautiful evening sky with countless twinkling stars.
The four of us arrived here last night (Thursday) evening around 9pm. We opened the front door of the cabin and knew we had landed in Heaven. Your cabin is well kept and decorated. 5 days. I'm the first one up this morning, an early bird. I looked out into the mountains and trees of your lovely large deck. The beauty is breath taking. I just nkow we will be refreshed and relaxed when we leave this beautiful home/cabin. Thank you so very much, Mirandy, for allowing us to share this beautiful home. It is so very Majestic, Serene, and just a SPECTACULAR place to come to get away from the large city! Thank you from the bottom of our heart!
This was perhaps the best Christmas our family has spent together. The house and location along with snowfall made for the perfect setting. Secluded in the mountains yet close to town. The house fit our family well, plenty of space for everyone, large kitchen for food prep and gathering, great sleeping accommodations. We made a fire in the fireplace every evening, some took time in the hot tub coming in with snow on there heads and a smile. Alot of fun driving in the snow going to see the lights at the courthouse. Thumbs up with 5 stars, I recommend this rental highly.

The property was beautifully maintained and beautiful surroundings. Beware the road there truly is a 4 wheel drive road but it is part of its charm. Really secluded and we enjoyed spending family time. Thank you for a lovely vacation!
Thank you so much for letting us rent your beautiful home. We had wonderful stay. Very well equipped and clean.
Oct 6-10-2016 This property is all that is described and so much more. You are at the top of the mountain when you rent this beautiful home. The home is equipped with everything needed for a relaxing mountain retreat,no need to bring anything but your personal belongings . It's modern, clean, comfy and extremely spacious. The views were simply breathtaking, and seemed to change with the sun. The night sky from the perfect hot tub was amazing, too many stars to try and count. My favorite part of being out side was the sound of the wind blowing through the tens of thousands of trees! Having wood burning fireplaces when it was 40 degrees and rainy was just lovely! It only takes 20 minutes to get to the historical and quaint town square for shopping and eating .The location was perfect! The home owner Mirandy was delightful and answered all questions very promptly. This truly is an amazing property to rent and I and my family will be coming back here again! Put this property on your A list people!
This location is a well appointed mountain home. There are beautiful views of the Bradshaws from inside the home and from the decks. We were very comfortable with eight people and two babies. I would take the owner's advice seriously for a four wheel drive vehicle to access the drive up to the house, especially in inclement weather. The wildlife included deer, elk bugling, turkeys, a fox and many birds. It was a lovely place for a family reunion.
I had been eyeing this rental for a few years now and finally was able to make it happen. My goodness, was it worth the wait. This rental made our trip a huge success. As you can probably tell from the photos, the interior is exquisitely decorated and maintained. It is evident Mirandy takes pride in her rentals. My family got there first, and we had first bedroom choice, but it took us all day to decide which one. The main level master and upstairs master are both amazing with comfortable King beds and beautiful décor. And the downstairs Queen bedroom though smaller, had its own kitchenette and small living room attached. Decisions! What isn’t captured adequately from the photos are the views from the upper deck. The lush green mountain views go on for miles. The house is on 4 acres, so unless you try real hard, you can’t see any other houses. Which makes you feel like isolated and secluded. The stars at night are incredible, shooting stars all night long. There is a very nice deck off of the lower level. Lots of comfortable patio furniture and shade if you don’t want to be in the sun during parts of the day. The younger kids entertained themselves outside with the swings and playhouse. It felt very safe for them to be out playing. The cabin has AC which is great. I have stayed in some that don’t, and it certainly detracts from the comfort level. It was also nice to have so many bathrooms. Especially with multiple families, each can have their own. The Jacuzzi was fantastic at night, with the stars and the fresh pine air. We utilized the grill on multiple occasions to capture that summer BBQ vibe. This was everything I had wanted. I don’t really have anything critical to say. Cell phone coverage wasn’t great. But that’s the price for such a beautiful location. Wifi was pretty dependable. The 2 mile road up to the cabin takes attention. There are blind turns and most areas are only wide enough for one vehicle. But take it slow and there won’t be any problems. Mirandy is positive and helpful and available to help out with any situation. Our stay was trouble free, but it was made clear she would solve any issue that would arise. She was great to communicate with, and very responsive during the rental process. I asked my whole family at the end of the trip, what could have been better. Nobody had anything to offer. So now the bar is set high. And I'm sure everything in the future will always be compared to the Prescott in the Pines cabin.
Tall Pines in Prescott. Tall pine trees are plentiful in this part of Prescott. There is always something to do. In Historic Downtown you can find art fairs on many weekends, nightlife, theater, and fine-dining. Prescott is an active city with lots going on. Look for one of the many fun runs, bike races, or holiday events.
You'll find lakes with fishing and paddle-boating; bouldering, hiking, exploring. Mountain biking is a favorite here as there are trails for beginners and experts alike.
Your stay here can be slow paced and quiet or more adventurous with lots of activity. You can have it both ways in our neck of the woods. Come take part in the Worlds Oldest Rodeo and Frontier Days.
