About the property

Bungalow, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

We love this place because you can park the car, and leave it. It is all new from top to bottom, with a complete remodel. You cannot find a better location. You can see Mcmenninemns out the front door. the old mill shopping is one half mile walk. You can hear bands warming up at the Les Schwab outdoor theater. Drakes park is 3 blocks away. We searched long and hard for this special loacation and then months on making it just perfect, do not be fooled by the great price, it is small and cozy, and you will love being there. If you like to bike or jog, just take off from the house. you will be back, we promise...

Great location!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip to Bend and we were looking for a rental that was close to town - the location of this cute little house was perfect! We easily walked through Old Bend and to the Old Mill District, along the river via the various trails-it was convenient to so much! Took a drive to Mount Bachelor and loved the scenery. Shopping, all kinds of recreation, the breweries & restaurants, concert at Les Scwab Amphitheater-we saw so much and yet there's still a "bucket list" for our next trip. We enjoyed coming home at the end of the day and sitting on the deck in the sunshine watching the birds and people passing by. Thank you for a lovely weekend! We'll be back!

Location is everything!

Great house for two couples! Super convenient to the main part of downtown. We travel to Bend often and this is the best location we have stayed in yet. The house is well equipped and cozy. We look forward in staying here again soon!

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

This place is as magical as it looks from the outside. We stayed three nights and would have added more if it hadn't already been booked. It's easily within walking distance to downtown, so there's no hassle trying to find parking. It was wonderfully charming and relaxing. We spent time out on the deck with wine and snacks and just enjoyed the beautiful weather. Would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone who likes the feel of a comfortable and cozy home. The coffee maker was great the only minor issue was that we couldn't locate the coffee grinder! We definitely plan on staying again. Thank you to Vickie as well as she was great to work with!

Well-Equipped

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect: 3 blocks to downtown, 3 blocks to a wonderful Whole-Foods type grocery, less than a half-mile to the river and to a great bike shop. We especially appreciated that the kitchen had salt, pepper and olive oil---probably left by previous vacationers but still good; you only need a tiny bit, but such a pain to buy a big container! The laundry room had a rear door from the deck, making it an easy place to store our bikes without dragging them through the house. Finally, the couch is really comfortable. We would definitely come back!
