Bend Bungalow Rental Photos and Description

Bungalow, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

We love this place because you can park the car, and leave it. It is all new from top to bottom, with a complete remodel. You cannot find a better location. You can see Mcmenninemns out the front door. the old mill shopping is one half mile walk. You can hear bands warming up at the Les Schwab outdoor theater. Drakes park is 3 blocks away. We searched long and hard for this special loacation and then months on making it just perfect, do not be fooled by the great price, it is small and cozy, and you will love being there. If you like to bike or jog, just take off from the house. you will be back, we promise...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect: 3 blocks to downtown, 3 blocks to a wonderful Whole-Foods type grocery, less than a half-mile to the river and to a great bike shop. We especially appreciated that the kitchen had salt, pepper and olive oil---probably left by previous vacationers but still good; you only need a tiny bit, but such a pain to buy a big container! The laundry room had a rear door from the deck, making it an easy place to store our bikes without dragging them through the house. Finally, the couch is really comfortable. We would definitely come back!

Rustic themed cottage

  • 4 of 5

Fun little rustic, western themed place close to downtown Bend and the Old Mill District. Easy access to 97 as well.

I would have given it five stars if it had central AC. We stayed there during a period of 90-100ºF and the unit was cooled by a portable AC unit in the dining/living area. As a result one of the bedrooms was a little warm. Not unbearable, just a bit warm.

Great for a small family

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in the adorable Bend cowboy cottage with our (1.5 year old) toddler for a family wedding. It was a perfect size for a small family and only needed minor baby proofing. (Bring a few plastic grocery bags to tie the cabinets closed.) The fenced in deck is perfect for containing a little person so that you can relax with a cold beer and not have to chase anyone around. :) The owner was very helpful and accommodating. The location is great - you can walk to shops, restaurants, parks, etc. We can't wait to stay here again when visiting family in Bend!

Very nice place in a good location. Had a few issues that kept rating lower. Wasn't cleaned on time, had a large bee hive on the deck, one set of sheets was worn so thin you could see through them, the propane gas tank on the grill was empty, the down spout on the deck is in need of replacement, and the neighbor 10 feet behind the house would let her dog out in the middle of the night only to bark for 10 solid minutes. I would also recommend getting a complete set of dishes, glasses, and silverware. Fix these and the rating goes up 1.5.

Owner's Response: Went by to take care of bees while tenant was there. They said "no worries", We did however remove them after they left. As for the dishes, kinda think they are nice, we do try to keep expenses down. We feel they location and the quality of furnishings and the place itself are outstanding. Similar places for rent are 30-40% higher . We will gladly make some improvements as we love others to love our place as much as we do. First unhappy tenant we've ever had😞 small side note, client called us @3:15 to say the house had not yet been cleaned. (Checkin is 4 pm). The house was ready by 5:00😊. We have a wonderful professional housekeeper, she had forgotten to clean, but took care of it immediately ........
