Offered by US based London Connection. 1 Bedroom 1 Bath.
Cambridge Circus for those traveling to London for theater, clubs, and restaurants, this is the center of the world. A stroll from Cambridge Circus down Shaftesbury Avenue to Piccadilly Circus is one of the most exciting walks in London; you will pass ten theaters with some of London's most exciting plays and musicals. Trafalgar Square is a five-minute walk, and the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey are an easy walk. The National Gallery and St. Martin-in-the-Fields are close by and will offer exhibitions and concerts unequalled in London. Six out of every ten visitors choose to stay in this district of the city. The Palace Theater is also on Cambridge Circus. The one bedroom apartment has just been redone to a very comfortable standard. Because the apartment is located in a very active part of London, the windows have been covered with double glazing so the flat is quiet and comfortable. The LIVING ROOM has comfortable furnishings with a SOFA BED which can be used by an additional visitor if occasionally required. There is excellent lighting and a flat screen TV. The BEDROOM has a UK Super King size bed which can be changed into two singles and good storage. The BATHROOM has a shower over the tub, wash hand basin, and loo. The KITCHEN has all machines including washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven and hob, and fridge/freezer. This is an excellent accommodation and perfect for visiting London when considering location, budget, and standard. For two persons (third person on a sofa bed) it is perfect. The flat is on the 3rd floor with a LIFT to the apartment. Very, very nice accommodation. High speed wireless internet is included. Property is designated non-smoking. If you are traveling in a LARGE GROUP, there is another 1 bedroom flat, a two bedroom flat, and a 3 bedroom flat in this same building. So up to 14 people traveling together can stay in the same building, and that is a wonderful possibility for families traveling together.
5 night minimum for most reservations. 3 nights considered within 30 days of arrival.

We love the apartment so much we keep returning to it when we visit London. We like to go to plays and this apartment is perfectly located to walk to most West End Theatres as well as the National Theatre. It's extremely convenient to buses and several Underground lines as well as a short walk to Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. The apartment itself is always neat and clean with good wifi. We have found several first rate restaurants within walking distance. The windows in the bedroom are well insulated so even though the apartment is near a busy intersection, the bedroom is quite quiet. It's a great apartment!
Thank you very much for your review! Glad to hear that this property enabled you to you to have a convenient home base where you could enjoy the West End theaters, great restaurants, and access to the Underground. Looking forward to having you return again!
Great apartment in a perfect location!
This apartment was perfect for our 5 night stay in London. I stayed with my mum on her first London trip and the location was amazing. It is close enough to most attractions to be able to get there by foot and a couple of minutes walk to the underground for those a little further away.We had tickets for The Mousetrap which turned out to be literally seconds down the street!
The apartment itself was just as the pictures showed, and apart from the lift being out of order for the first few days (meaning a long walk up to the 4th floor) it suited our needs well. The bed converts into 2 singles which meant we didn't need to use the sofa bed, and they were very comfortable. The area of Cambridge Circus is busy and noisy but we found we adjusted to it after the first night and by using the fan to provide white noise.
I would happily stay here again, the location is amazing, the view down to Cambridge Circus is great and the apartment itself is perfect for 2.
Thank you very much for your response. We're happy to hear that you enjoyed the location of the apartment and the close proximity to theaters and the underground.
We apologize for the lift being out of order for a time during your stay, but are glad you found the property to be comfortable.
We do hope you will return to stay with us again in the future!
Great location, clean & warm
Very central. Close to theatres, shopping, & tube stations. The apartment was well equipped. The odd layout actually made it feel more spacious. We were there in a cold snap & the heating was great. Even though the bedroom windows are double paned it is quite noisy. There is a fire hall just down the road & sirens go off constantly. I used earplugs but was still woken often. The bed is not the most comfortable. (my husband & I are skinny so that might've been part of it) A mattress topper or something could help. If you're a good sleeper the place is great.
Thank you very much for your review! We're glad you enjoyed the amenities and convenient location of the flat. With the location being in the heart of Covent Garden, it can be quite lively in the evenings, especially on the weekends. For future reference, mattress toppers are available upon request.
Amazing location for a Theatre trip
I love this location. We had a great time walking everywhere. 10 minutes to a whole foods, great restaurants, and every theatre we went to.
Also great kitchen and nicely equipt.
We'll be coming back!
We were warned by other reviewers about the noise, so came equipped with earplugs. - and that seemed to work well. Only suggestion is black out shades or curtains for the bedroom would have been enjoyed. As it was, it was fairly bright in the mornings.
Staff was charming and very helpful at handoff.
Fantastic location very central and lively.
Our stay was very comfortable and almost exactly what we were expecting. It felt very new and clean. The location is great. There is so much to do right there but also within walking distance to many things. We loved the view from every room. We did feel a little cramped with 3 of us as there is not much storage of any kind for clothes luggage etc. The kitchen was well equipped. We would stay there again.
We couldn't have asked for more
I have rented vacation apartments in several different countries and cannot speak more highly of London Connection and our stay at the flat at Gloucester Mansions. The process of reserving and paying for the flat could not have been easier. Pre-arrival communications were excellent, and the pick up service at the airport was stress free. Ricardo met me at the flat, and gave me detailed information, but didn’t overstay his welcome, giving me the information I needed to feel at home without taking up too much time. He also emphasized that we could reach him at any time, for any issue. We didn’t need him because everything worked smoothly, but it was good to know that he was there.
As for the flat, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The size was absolutely perfect for two and would have been fine for three. I cannot imagine a more perfect location. We were within minutes of most theaters, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Regent Street, Piccadilly, and dozen of bookshop on Charing Cross Road. Both the Leicester Square and Tottenham Court tube stations were a couple of minutes away. And, as my mother pointed out, it seemed as though every bus in London stops at Cambridge Circus. Even when we had retired to the flat, tired of our adventures, we felt part of the city. We loved to watch the crowds outside, the pedicabs congregating, the Hare Krishnas parading, the long lines at the Palace Theatre for Harry Potter tickets. Some of our favorite memories are sitting in the flat, drinking wine and eating biscuits from Tesco, talking about life, and watching the world go by below. The area is lively well into the early hours of the morning, but thanks to the double glazed windows and the fans we used for white noise, we slept well every night. As an added bonus, the flat itself was impeccably clean, comfortable, and well appointed.
