It's less costly than paying expensive baggage fees at the airport. These items can be delivered and setup prior to your arrival.
The unit is nicely furnished. The location was convenient, and we had no trouble finding a parking space.
If Sean gets this, I would be very curious to know what brand of mattress topper was on the queen bed? It was very comfortable, and I haven't found one like it when I've looked.
We stayed 5 nights to visit our daughter in college.
1. The apartment gave us a genuine feel of Boston living and housing.
2. Beds were very comfortable/cozy.
3. Close to the subway, shopping and historical sites.
4. Bathroom light was burned out and someone came to fix it the same day.
1. Bugs. Ants in the bathroom and a house centipede came out to visit us
one morning from under the bed in the living room. They are quite
creepy and run very fast.
2. Shawn was helpful for the most part. I would STRONGLY suggest not
leaving anything behind. We left at 3am and forgot to check the closet.
We left 3 men's shirts. I texted and called to let Shawn know. He said
he'd take care of it. I called and texted many more times and was told the
shirts were sent 2-day priority. I offered to pay the postage several
times....and was told not to worry about it. However I am still
waiting on the shirts. No reply to my texts. :o(
The welcome letter says they will have an information package 'just for you'. There was no such packet. I would suggest a list of restaurants, grocery stores and historical sites in the area that would help new comers navigate around the area.
The place was in a good location for being close to who we were visiting. Sean was very helpful and considerate. The place had the basics that we needed for our stay.
My husband and I loved staying in this spacious and quiet apartment to explore Cambridge and Somerville. We visited without our son, but he would have been comfortable there. The only downside for those with a child in tow is that there was no bathtub (only a shower) but on the plus side, there was a pack and play in the bedroom closet. All the amenities of home were available- laundry and a equipped kitchen. There was also very easy street parking.
We made enjoyed the wonderful restaurants of Davis and Union Square and enjoyed the easy T access to Boston.
Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to shopping areas and restaurants. Manager responded quickly to requests and questions and was available by phone, email and text. Besides groceries, everything was provided for a comfortable stay.
The Rindgefield is located between Porter and Davis Squares. The neighborhood has eclectic charm, authentic New England architecture and includes an array of coffee shops, fine dining and access to local transportation. Many travelers have said the area is more lively than Harvard Square. Upon arrival we urge you to explore the area, provide your feedback and let us know what you think!
