Owner / Property Manager purchased this house in 0
We spent 4 nights in this fabulous house in August. It's the first time I've rented a property and it looked as terrific as the pictures! It was a quiet and serene setting. The house was perfect for my sister's family and mine. They were at one end and we were at the other so everyone had there own space. It was a pleasant surprise to find the kitchen had all the tools I needed to prepare dinner and we even used the bbq out on the deck on evening. I liked that it was remote, yet not too far from the highway so we could see the island. We found the Coombs Country Market easily and found a terrific thai restaurant called Thai Smile. The only issue we had was wifi wasn't always working. My brother-in-law needed to check in with work and wasn't able to because wifi was intermittent. We were also trying to watch the Olympics and kept getting a "no signal" when we turned on the tv. Those glitches were minor though, I'd rent the house again in a heartbeat!
We had a great visit and did lots of activities in the area but it was really nice to come back, at the end of each busy day, to such a nice quiet retreat. The only downfall was the water pressure in the shower :(
Would stay again!
(Was charged in USD for some reason but other than that it was a great stay).
New, modern, bright space with lots of windows. Kitchen items/equipment was well stocked (Included use of a vitamix and outdoor BBQ). Good deck space.
Location was more remote than we expected ... And the village wasn't actually mentioned until we paid and rec'd confirmation. Good R&R option as quite quiet & definitely off the beaten-path.
Key that was left didn't work. Light switches aren't all obvious - so a welcome letter to guests would be supportive.
Overall a good place for a weekend escape once you've packed & prepared to stay put.
We stayed at the house for a long weekend with a group of friends wanting to explore the Englishman River park and Englishman Falls park trails on our mountain bikes. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and well equipped, and was perfectly located for us. The trails were great and we would definitely stay here again.
