Located on the waterfront in Milford. Milford is the town that has it ALL! It has all the tranquility that the waterfront provides, the sounds of the water and the seagulls. It is also a town which has a large modern mall with 14 movie theatres and a quaint down town with many restaurants ~ all within walking distance to each other. Milford boasts it's own Whole Foods, Costco and Trader Joes is nearby to both.
The house has a large open floor plan on the first floor. This open floor plan includes a large working kitchen and creates an atmosphere of unity and family fun. The first floor opens with sliding glass doors to a waterfront deck. This provides all guests with the most spectacular sunsets. This property is also encased with a fence making it more secure for families traveling with toddlers.
I love the open layout of the first floor and the expansive fenced deck. The house is comfortably furnished and the kitchen well equipped. It has A/C which is a big plus for me though we rarely used it because of the delightful breeze that the Milford sound produced. While you are nestled in a quiet beach neighborhood that provides a lovely venue for morning walks, you are minutes away from a great grocery store and the plethora of shopping on route 1. We will be returning next June. I can't wait! Cheryl (property manager) is the best.
My extended family & I have vacationed here for the past 2 summers. This is a wonderfully comfortable & clean house. It is well appointed w/all the comforts of home. It is especially nice for families w/young children, as the property is fenced. Also, good for elderly, as there are not many steps from outside. We love being so close to the water & the outside area has shade & sun. Inside is bright, neat & main living area is roomy. Parking is good. We can fit 3-4cars. Cheryl (rental agent) is great, always responds promptly & takes care of any issues. We have rented several properties of hers & she's always fantastic. I only wish it had more bedrms, as our extended family is growing & we need more space.
Amazing house with everything you need! Clean, comfy and wonderful porch to watch the sound and sunsets! Bonus fenced yard for 2 and 4 legged kids. Cheryl is incredible and goes out of her way to make sure your stay is perfect!!

It was an awesome house with everything you needed except groceries!! The view was spectacular. The best was Cheryl. From our first conversation to other inquiries that I made for certain needs. Cheryl went above and beyond and answered everything. She is awesome and we will definitely be back again
After flying across the states everyone was tired and cranky, but once we walked into this house we felt "Home" The house was clean, cozy and well equipped. Cheryl met us the first day and was very helpful with all our questions and was readily available during our week stay.
The bedrooms were warm and comfortable. Now for the best part, The view! We would sit and talk just watching the waves and the seagulls. We even got a snow storm. I bet the summer is even better.
We would definately rent this house again.
I rented this house for my 70th birthday party turned out fantastic because it appears the house was designed with entertaining in mind. The house is immaculate and the views spectacular. People are still calling to tell me what a great idea it was to rent this lovely home. If you want a party or just get away and enjoy the peaceful days and amazing sunsets, you can't go wrong with this choice.
This direct waterfront home is located in a private bay. On one end of the Bay we have Pond Point. The other end is Welshes Point on a map. This home sits on the eastern end of this, closer to Pond Point.

ONCE THE LEASE IS WRITTEN AND SENT IT NEEDS TO BE RETURNED WITH A DEPOSIT OF 1/3 THE RENTAL FEE AND A COPY OF YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE. THIS IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF IDENTIFICATION. IN MARCH THE 2ND PAYMENT OF 1/3 IS DUE AND FINAL BALANCE IS DUE 8 WEEKS BEFORE ARRIVAL
