Family of 5 stayed over New Years and I can't imagine the accommodations being any better for us. Minutes walking to Harpa, Laugavegur, Hallgrimskirkja, great restaurants and bakeries. Large dining table was focal point of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. Burkni provided us with great suggestions and recommendations and helped make our holiday unforgettable. New Year's Eve in Reykjavik is amazing... bonfires, fireworks and festivities welcomed in 2017. Plenty of room for our young adult children. I would highly recommend the apartment to anyone looking to visit Reykjavik.
My family and I spent three great nights at this apartment and enjoyed every minute. The location could not have been better for Reykjavik - walking distance to everything and right in the heart of downtown. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and perfectly appointed with some really interesting and funky artwork. For a family of 4 (or certainly more) this was a particularly great spot since there was plenty of room. Burkni was very responsive and easy to work with and we would certainly stay here again in the future.
Stayed here for a week with a family of five (older teens). The apartment was spotlessly clean, and very roomy. Comfortable beds for 5. Appliances all worked well and plenty of dishes/cutlery supplied. Abundant towels also. Location is excellent with easy walks to many attractions, restaurants and shopping. Burkni was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. We have stayed in many rental apartments over the years and this was certainly one of the best. Thank you Burkni!
We stayed for three nights in this lovely flat right in the heart of Reykjavik. The flat was immaculate, the beds were perfect. Walking distance to all of the best restaurants, shops and sites. Slept 4 of us very comfortably.
We stayed in this wonderful gem of a home last month. Accommodated the 4 of us comfortably (two couples). We loved the décor and artwork. We all commented on how luxurious and comfortable the beds were. But hands down, the best feature of the flat was the unbeatable location-- right in the heart of Reykjavik. You could walk anywhere! We rented a car for the week-- but you really don't need to. Burkni was a great host and answered all of my e-mails promptly. I would highly recommend this flat and definitely stay again if we ever make it back to Reykjavik!
I stayed in this lovely, artistic apartment with my friend and three teenage boys. We were able to park our car in a convenient location, and found it invaluable if you like to avoid bus tours. Restaurants, the grey line, the harbor, and park (with lively bands) were all within easy walking distance. Burkni was a wonderful host and was generous with his time and information. Not liking lamb or fish, I fully expected to lose weight in Iceland. Wrong! The restaurants were wonderful! I better hit the gym hard before making my next trip!
