About Leslie Wilson

We moved to Joshua Tree in 2007 to escape the city life and never looked backed.

Leslie Wilson purchased this cabin in 2007

Why Leslie Wilson chose Indian Cove

I walked by it and fell in love with it instantly. I knew I would buy it someday (not knowing it was for sale) and within a month, we were in escrow. I always wanted a log cabin and it is exactly what I always dreamed of.

What makes this cabin unique

Having Joshua Tree National Park as your backyard : )

Guestbook comments from the manager

Incredible Views of the Falcon 9 Rocket

  • 5 of 5

Third time staying here! The house is so well built that you hardly know it's winter outside. Hot tub was a steady 102 and we brought the majority of our food for our three night stay over Christmas. I found everything I needed to prepare meals and we found extra blankets in the closet. We had the heat off the whole time, except the first night when it dipped into the thirties. Unbelievably quiet and feels safe, took a couple of 2-3 mile walks from the house into Indian Cove campgrounds, great way to spend time together with my loved ones and get away from the madness that is LA.

Perfect Desert Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Remote, but not too remote. Simple, but not rustic. Beautiful desert location. Super nice owners. Stress melted away.

Perfect spot to unwind

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for two nights. We wished we would have allowed ourselves more time here during our vacation in LA. When we arrived we were greeted by Todd and he showed us everything we needed to know about the cabin and the hot tub and answered any questions we had. He is very pleasant to talk to. The cabin is nicely stocked with everything we needed. There is a grocery store 3 miles away where we got our groceries. We highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back.

In the Desert Wilderness

  • 5 of 5

This is a really nice guest house on a beautiful, private 5-acre property fronting Joshua Tree. One couldn't ask for more. House was comfortable, beautifully-designed, clean and extremely quiet. The outdoor environment was a treat.

Amazing desert escape!

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing spot! Hosts Todd & Leslie have created a genuine escape, located adjacent to the Joshua Tree National Park. The house faces the park, so the evening sunset is hard to your right, leaving the changing light and increasing explosion of stars as your evening show. Extremely well appointed, and ideal for a getaway, with a well-stocked kitchen of everything but your food and beverage. There was even a new stick of butter left in the fridge, along with fresh condiments and enough to get us on our way.

The entire park is well within a short drive, but two hikes are really close, allowing you to access some truly beautiful sites and hikes. Best food was nearby in 29 Palms at the 29 Palms restaurant. Full grocery store even closer in 29P: Staters. Escape to the quiet and beauty of the desert was wonderful. Coyote howls a few times reminded you that you're in nature. Ideal location, fantastic house, very considerate and thoughtful hosts. Pool and hot tub a nice addition also. We would love to come back and would easily stay at Indian Cove with Todd & Leslie again!!!
