The cabin is clean, cozy, and comfortable. Our family had an amazing time and will definitely come back to Forest Fantasy any time it is available.

Good cabin and location

  • 4 of 5

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. This was our first time visiting the area. The location of this property was great! You do drive into the mountains a bit (somewhat narrow roads and inclines, but nothing too crazy), but it was only about 15 minutes to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. (We much preferred Gatlinburg to Pigeon Forge. Dollywood far exceeded out expectations; I highly recommend a visit there.) Taking the "back route" to Gatlinburg was much easier. There are lots of other cabins around, so you don't feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet you have total privacy here.

I do think the carpet needs to be either torn up or replaced ASAP. I was very turned off by how worn it is and made sure to wear slippers/socks the entire stay. Upon arriving, there were lots of dead bugs (mostly flies) all over. On the one hand, I understand we are in the woods and I appreciate that they spray, but the bugs should have been cleaned up by housekeeping the time we arrived. We also had an issue one evening when we came home to the alarm going off. This definitely bothered us. We believe it had to be going off for quite some time, yet the owners were not called and there had been no one stopped by to check (i.e., local law enforcement). Everything ended up being fine, but this was still very odd. It made us believe it's just an old alarm system without a valid monitoring subscription.

Overall, we had a good stay. I do think the cabin can use some improvements, as mentioned above, but it's still a nice place.

Perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

We loved where this cabin was located, which was between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It made it easy to go into either town. The layout of the cabin was nice, and we loved the arcade game! The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and utensils. Although there are other cabins around, it still feels private, and the view is great.

Beautiful and romantic

  • 5 of 5

The property sits pretty high up on the mountain with some narrow points but that’s half the fun. Once it pull up to the cabin you get to see the beauty surrounding it and the inside is lovely.

Charming, cozy cabin

  • 5 of 5

My husband & I and my husband's parents enjoyed a week in this cozy cabin in the Smokey Mountains. We were in the area for the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge and made our home here during our stay.

With a second floor which has its own small balcony overlooking the wooded scenery it worked well for 2 couples. Each floor has a spacious bedroom and bath. The view is hampered a bit by a few tall trees close to the cabin but it was still very serene and beautiful.

The cabin is tastefully decorated which adds to its appeal. The kitchen is supplied with good

quality dinnerware and enough cookware to enjoy meals there.

The owners were nice to work with throughout the process and responded to our correspondence promptly.

Thank you for sharing your cabin with us and helping to make our stay enjoyable.

May God bless you!

Excellent Choice

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a quiet 5 night stay and we picked the perfect place. The cabin was beautiful, clean and quiet. We brought my wife's mom along on this trip and they both saw a bear from the screened in deck during the first hour we were there. Very nice, Thank You.

Owner's Response: Your very lucky, we have owned the place for several years and never seen a bear from the deck. Thanks for staying with us.
