Why The Owner chose Cruz Bay

After years of exploring the Virgin Islands through bareboat sailing rentals, we settled on St. John because of the spectacular scenery, the warmth of the island people, and the perfect weather.

What makes this condo unique

We love the ever-changing vistas of the harbor: pelicans diving, sailboats coming and going. The proximity to town is another plus - we love leaving the car behind and walking to the many wonderful restaurants in Cruz Bay.

The picture from the balcony had me sold. The condo was wonderful, everything you need was there. Grande Bay was great, loved the pool on the roof. I could go again and again and again.

Perfect location loved Grande Bay and the condo was amazing. Being in the lower level is prime for viewing those wonderful Cruz bay sunsets. If I make it back to St John I won't stay anywhere else. Thanks for sharing your piece of heaven!

Perfect location! Convenient walk to town and ferry.

Loved the location on second floor in first building, right next to the beach. Watched the boats come and go, as well as walkers on the sand, yet balcony felt very private. Light traffic but when doors are closed, condo is quiet and there is definitely no road noise impact in the bedroom on the back. Nicely appointed and in good condition. The kitchen was adequate for any meal. Great washer/dryer. Plenty of quality towels and linens. Only two negatives: The bedroom closet shelf is too wide. Closet doors don't close when clothes are hanging. More annoying than non-functional. The other is the king size bed with valleys on each side and a mountain range down the middle. (A bit of an exaggeration, but would have given a 5 Star rating with a better bed).

Laurie, from the management company, greeted us at the ferry, drove around the town to point out restaurants, then took us up to the condo. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. The Jeep we rented from them was well priced and right there in the parking garage next to elevator. If you rent your car from St. Thomas, there is free parking in the garage.

A lovely experience. We would definitely come back and hope there will be a new bed.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED THIS PROPERTY!!!!!!

JUST ARRIVED HOME LAST NIGHT AND HAD TO WRITE THIS REVIEW. THIS PROPERTY WAS THE BEST -- BEAUTIFUL FURNISHINGS, SUPER CLEAN AND TOTALLY EQUIPPED. WE HAD BEACH CHAIRS, TOWELS, A COOLER, LAUNDRY SOAP, ENOUGH TP AND PAPER TOWELS TO LAST YOU A MONTH. NOW THE REAL REASON I HAD TO HURRY UP AND WRITE THIS REVIEW -- THE LOCATION. WE HAVE STAYED IN NUMEROUS HOMES ON ST JOHN OVER THE YEARS AND TRAVELLED TO CRUZ BAY EVERY EVENING FOR THE BARS AND DINNERS AND PARKING IS IMPOSSIBLE AND COSTLY. NOT AT THIS PROPERTY. WE WERE ABLE TO WALK TO EVERYTHING AND THAT TRULY CHANGED THE STRESS LEVEL OF OUR VACATION. WE ALSO LOVED BEING SO CLOSE TO THE FERRY OVER TO ST. THOMAS AND RODE THE FERRY OVER TO ST. THOMAS FOR DINNER AT PESCE IN RED HOOK AND OCEANA IN FRENCHTOWN -- NEITHER RESTAURANT IS TO BE MISSED. WE LOVED HITTING THE BEACHES THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND COMING BACK TO GRANDE BAY'S POOL AND DECIDING WHERE WE WANTED TO "WALK" TO DINNER. THIS WAS ONE OF OUR BEST VACATIONS IN 36 YEARS!!

Beautiful Unit- great service

Anna May and Peter's unit is nothing short of perfection. Well equipped kitchen, washer dryer, plenty of bath towels, comfy patio furniture. The parking spot for this unit is also very convenient! We had a wonderful visit to Grande Bay, and we loved the proximity to Cruz Bay. The ONLY reason that this is not a 5 star review is that there is a studio unit attached to this 1 bedroom ( also owned by Anna May and Peter). On our first morning, we were woken by the clinging and clanging of pans/ silverware- I'm not really sure what all the commotion was- But it continued the next day as well. I can describe it best as when you have a 1 year old and you let them "play" in the kitchen. It was LOUD. That is not something that the owners can control however- but it might be something to take into consideration if you are a very light sleeper- Hopefully it was an isolated event. Would we return to this condo? Absolutely!
