Inescapable View is a magnificent 7BR/8BA estate atop the Dune Ridge of Bald Head Island! Floor-to-ceiling windows provide truly inescapable views of South Beach's pristine coastline. On the other side of the house is an equally alluring view of the untouched Maritime Forest. (The Maritime Forest is part of the 10,000 acres of the 12,000 on the Island set aside as a nature preserve.)
On the first floor of the main house are three bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with a queen bed and a twin bed. The third, and largest bedroom on this level, is a queen that is set apart-offering a little more privacy. The first floor also boasts a bright, comfortable sitting area with bench seating and a flat-screen television.
Up the stairs, to the main floor of this reverse floor-plan home, you'll find a vast living space featuring towering ceilings and breathtaking vistas from the plethora of windows. This bright, light-filled area features clean lines, contemporary furnishings and a cozy fireplace. The flat-screen has a sound system that even connects to your iPod!
The open, luxurious dining room easily seats eight with extra chairs to squeeze ten and also serves panoramic views of the beach. Inescapable View's gorgeous, state-of-the-art kitchen is nothing short of perfection. Granite countertops, a kitchen island with prep sink, high-end appliances and a breakfast bar that serves four make this kitchen a chef's dream. There is also a wet bar to help you relax and rejuvenate.
On this home's top floor is the epitome of a master suite. First, there's a private balcony that delivers grand views-the perfect place to relax in the morning or watch the sunset in the evening. Then there's the secluded sitting area just outside the master bedroom that provides a tranquil spot to catch up on some reading or doze in one of the comfortable chairs. Adjacent to the kitchenette is another roomy balcony where you can enjoy views of the coastline while rocking to gentle breezes.
