Sleeps 8 comfortably with all new mattresses and house hold furnishings. Our friends laugh when we say it's a cabin because they describe our cabin as a luxurious home in the woods with all the amenities one could want. All we ask is that you treat our place like your own!

Professionals that work hard to play hard in nature. We enjoy skiing, hiking, rafting, fishing, and swimming. We have been all around the world and still feel there is no place like Kyburz and the natural pardise provided!
Sam Goldman purchased this cabin in 2008
We grew up enjoying oudoor activities and Kyburz is the perfect get away to conitinue to do the activities we love. We want to provide the same opportunities for our children.
Location, location, location! This place has it all: rivers, starry nights, beautiful landscape, lakes, great resturants, and peace and quiet.
My family and I stayed in this 2 bedroom (1 upstairs w/ .5 bath, 1 downstairs) and 1.5 bathroom cabin during our first skiing trip this past winter with our kids. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. The cabin had everything we needed during our stay and I felt right at home. It's close to Sierra at Tahoe so it was great to come back here after a long day skiing. The fireplace is great and the owners had wood for us so we didn't have to bring any with us. The kids were able to sled down the hill in their front yard and had a blast. The neighbor across the street is friendly and welcoming. Even our four legged child had a great time here.
I would recommend this cabin to friends and family.
My wife and I stayed at this cabin for the weekend. It's a cute cabin, with a lot of charm.
We enjoyed the space and the amenities. The owner provided us with a detailed packet explaining how everything worked and where to find the local attractions and outings which were immensely helpful.
We had hoped the cabin was a little more secluded, but in the end, it's a great cabin and we are considering returning the next time we are in the area.
What an amazingly clean and comfort place. Located right off freeway yet still peaceful and quiet. So cozy and fun. Will be returning. A must do!!!
My wife, daughter and I decided to hike into Desolation Wilderness on short notice after Memorial Day and scrambled to find a place to stay the Friday night before at the end of our drive from the Bay Area. Sam's house was a nice discovery. It's got wonderful old school charm. It's very convenient, a block off I-50 but quiet at night (you hear the river, not the traffic).
Sam was very responsive to my handful of questions. The house was clean. My kids are grown up but they had some toys there and kid movies for the TV to play if you wanted. I'd recommend this home to families or groups.
This cabin was awesome. Great experience for me and my family's first time. We want to make it an annual trip. Stocked with kids toys and lots of cozy blankets. We had 7 people to start then added a family and there was plenty of room. Beautiful place.
We had such a great experience staying in this cabin. The cabin slept 3 adults and 2 children very comfortably - we probably could have had 2 more adults and still been comfortable.
The kitchen was incredibly well stocked (with appliances, pots, pans, dishes, etc.) and the layout is excellent.
The owners have provided a ton of toys, games, and child friendly movies. This was a welcome surprise for us as we have a 9 year old and 2 year old.
The property is very well kept and everything worked as it should. We were so grateful for the washer/dryer, dishwasher, and heated "mud room".
The neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood is charming.
We are already planning to book this property again next summer so we can experience all of the wonderful outdoor activities in close proximity.
