24 G Street is an owner operated 2 unit house. Each unit is booked independently although most tenants reserve both units for group stays. Please call or text Jim at 770-653-2107 so I can answer any of your questions, arrange for an on-site visit, assure unit availability, offer discounts and discuss security deposit fees and procedures.
Property Description: The Upstairs Unit Sleeps 11, The Downstairs Unit Sleeps 6-8. Walk to any of 3 Convenient Fishing/Crabbing Piers, the Post Office, Bait Stores, Gift Shops, Restaurants, Pharmacy, Ice Cream Parlors, Community Ball field with Basket Ball & Tennis Courts, B&B Department Store, and of course Park Bakery. Bring your bikes & ride The Boards.
For Parents with small children, there is a wonderful Bay Bathing Beach and Play Ground where 5Th Ave meets the Bay.
Weather permitting, on Wednesday night's a Fireworks display can be seen in the Heights. BTW… during the day, The water park Water Works has many special offers and discounts available.
Keywords: Two Family House: The Upstairs Unit has 5BR/2BA (Sleeps 11); the Downstairs Unit has 3BR/1BA (Sleeps 6-8). Each unit has its own enclosed porch with a second TV/DVD on the Upstairs porch. Additionally, the Upstairs has front and rear decks; the Downstairs has a covered rear patio. Each Unit has its own enclosed outside storage unit. There is a common area to both units offering a Full Laundry, Enclosed Privacy Shower, and Open Outside Shower w/ Foot Wash Station. There is even a common area Fish Cleaning Station, Bike Rack with 2 cruiser Bikes and 20+ Beach Chairs for tenant usage.
This home has been in our family since 1943. The Downstairs Unit has always been a rental, now the Upstairs Unit is available as well.
Each Unit has an updated full kitchen w/ dishwasher. We kept its 1920 Jersey Shore charm with 21st century conveniences including Wi-Fi.

This house is in a Quiet, Family Focused Community, close to the Beach and Bay. Perfect for Swimming, Sun Bathing, Fishing, Boating, Clamming, and Crabbing, Bike Riding & Flying Kites. The entrance to Island Beach State Park is only a mile away.
Boat rentals can be found at all the local marinas. There is a bike rack w/ (2) 26 inch Cruiser Bikes provided but you will need to bring your own helmets. Other bikes are available for rent near the Town Square. Fishing Poles, Tackle, Crab Traps, Nets & Corn Hole (bean bag) Toss and other games are provided. Pending Receipt of a Security Deposits, twelve (12) Beach Badges are available for your use. Eight (8) assigned to the Upstairs Unit and four (4) to the Downstairs. Twenty plus (20+) Beach Chairs are also provided.
Many great Restaurants, Arcades, Water Slides, Fishing Piers, Golf, Miniature Golf, Playgrounds, Shopping, Adult and Children Amusement Rides are all within walking distance. It is approximately a 1/2 mile walk to the community of Seaside Heights where there is an abundance of Restaurants, Dance Clubs, Bars/Pubs & Deli's.
My family and I, who live in Florida now, have been returning to Seaside Park for 19 years now. The last 4 years have been in this wonderful house. I will continue to rent this house every year because we are as comfortable in this house as if it were our own. I have not meet the owner personally but he is contact with us when we get there and when we are leaving, I actually feel like we are great friends. Always asking how our week went and if we had any porblems. We always just thank him and book again for the next year. He supplies more recreational things than any other rental I have had (4 bikes, crab traps, nets, cornhole, other games I don't know the names of). The house is clean, spacious, and supplied very well with all of our needs. The backyard is where we spend 90 percent of our time. There are plenty of chairs and tables to fit all of us and then some. I love my time with family and the Shore and mak many memories each year. This house helps those memories get better each time!
We enjoyed the house very much! Great amount of space allowed for a lot of crawling and running around. Kids loved it!!! The location is fantastic, you can enjoy the beach and be home in less than 5 minutes. We stayed upstairs, tub on the 3rd level was a great plus for kids and adults. We had a pleasure meeting the owner and could not ask for a nicer and more helpful person!!! Jim - it was a pleasure! We used bikes, crab traps and pretty much everything house has to offer. You truly don't need to bring much if you stay there, they have it !!! Decor makes it feel like home not a rental. Plenty of charm and family history makes this place one of a kind. Had a wonderful time. This was the second time staying here and we recommend this house. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his family they couldn't been more accommodating. We would love to stay again !
Even after having seen the property some months before renting my wife, children and son-in-law were unprepared for how nice it is! The photos really don't do justice to how nice everything was. We all had a terrific time and everyone commented on how EVERYTHING was supplied.The owner and property manager were like friendly neighbors that made you feel as if you'd known them for decades. By the second day of our stay it was a unanimous decision to come back next year.
We have stayed in several places in Seaside Park (in one property for 15 straight years) but have never loved a place as much as we loved this place.I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a superbly maintained home for a seaside vacation.
This was our second year staying at 24 G Street. We have stayed in several other homes throughout Seaside Park but this house is by far the best house ever!. We are very large family group and rent the entire house. The home is clean, comfortable and has everything that you need for fun at the shore. We enjoy setting the crab hotels and then betting on how many crabs we will catch. We really loved the addition of the bikes and we spent many hours riding for enjoyment or using them for a Surf Taco run! The many beach toys kept the small kids (and big kids) happy on the beach!
The outside area is perfect for large family meals or in our case... Happy Hour! We have had many great laughs around that table! The upstairs sun porch is the perfect place to sit and read a book, take a nap or for family games.
We can't say enough about the house, Jim (the owner) and Jay (property manager). We now feel like we are part of their family! We are so appreciative to have a shore house to rent that allows us to create wonderful family memories. We look forward to creating many more memories at 24 G Street!
We just got back from a week stay, rented the upstairs unit. We were a family of 8 (1 yr old, 3 yr old, 10 yr old, and the rest adults). Our first impression was that the home is beautifully maintained outside and in. The accommodations are fantastic, with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The unit had many updates, particularly the kitchen and bathroom. The large enclosed porch offered spacious seating with windows all around that let in the beautiful ocean breeze. We gathered there each night as a family to relax and enjoy the breeze. The property is located three homes away from the ocean, so needless to say we walked back and forth from the beach many times per day. With all the children, washing up was very convenient with the outside shower station. Many times the smaller kids were shampooed right there before entering the unit. The exterior deck, which is located off of the kitchen, was a great area to gather and barbecue.
I also had the pleasure to meet Jim (the owner). He really is a class act and the nicest person. It is very obvious that he takes pride in the property and is detail oriented in terms of accommodations for his guests. Here is just one example; over a conversation about the fishing possibilities I asked where would be the best place to clean a fish. Jim suggested using a folding table he had in the garage. Since the table was made of particle board backing I commented that it would ruin if it got wet. The next day Jim went out and bought a table conducive to cleaning and preparing fish. That’s just the kind of guy he is. He really wants to make each guests stay as convenient and enjoyable as possible.
The property really has everything you’ll need for a family vacation at the beach, from beach chairs to crab traps(even the utensils to eat the crabs), to laundry room. They have thought about it all for your convenience. We have rented for the past three years at Seaside Park, and this property by far surpasses them all. The entire family raved about it and we are all looking forward to coming back.
Only four homes from the Boards, Beach and Surf. Island Beach State Park is a 5 minute drive. Kayak Rentals for Bay and Surf available. Community Tennis & Basketball Courts and a Softball Field are available on a first come first serve. This is a Clean, Quite, Family Setting but if you enjoy amusements, arcades and night clubs, Seaside Heights is within walking distance. During the Summer Season, I arranged to have the A&P Grocery Store to stay open 24/7. With Deposit, 12 Beach Badges are available for your usage. 8 are assigned to the Upstairs Unit and 4 to the Downstairs. New York, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Point Pleasant are close. Bait Shops, Bike Rentals, Ice Cream Parlors, Italian & Seafood Restaurants abound. Take a stroll, you'll find all your favorite vacation needs are just a short walk away.

Seasonal Rates: Entire house, 8BR/3.5BA, Sleeps 1-19, $4600/wk + $175 cleaning fee. Downstairs Unit Only, 3BR/1BA, Sleeps 6-8, $2000/wk + $75 cleaning fee. Upstairs Unit Only, 5BR/2BA, Sleeps 11, $3000/wk + $100 cleaning fee. Half rate due at booking. Balance due 30 days prior to arrival. All other dates are considered Off-Season and discounted 40%. Off-Season Minimum Night Stay is negotiable.
