Elena is very accommodating! The apartment is in a great, downtown core location! It is easy to walk to many places in the area, even in the wintertime. The apartment is very clean and secure. Overall I would highly recommend this for a couple or small family. We hope to be back again!
It's a studio apartment between City Hall and Dundas Street. Clean, with all necessities. Elena is great.
First Elena was very good to deal with, efficient and quick with responses. The Condo is exactly as the pictures indicate. It is small but clean, well equipped and in a good location. The bed was comfortable. On arrival I was not sure about the noise level as the Condo faces Dundas Street, however sound was not a problem. The only issue as far as the apartment I had was there are no blackout curtains so the room was very light, but I had packed a sleeping mask so that certainly helped.
The issue I have was part of the check in process requires sending a picture of your photo ID, i.e. Drivers Licence. I have rented through AirBnb, and VRBO previously and never had to do this. While I understand as an owner that you want to try to have some back up the fact is I had paid by credit card through pay pal and you had my payment. Identity Theft is a huge crime in Canada and there are no disclosure of the terms and conditions of this practice as required by Canadian Privacy Law. This act is totally against the Privacy Laws of Canada. It is acceptable to look at ID and record a number but photo copying is not an acceptable practice unless you are a financial institution. As such I will be lodging a complaint of this practice against VRBO, Home Away, and the owner with the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We stayed at Elena's condo for a week in Sep 16 and we were totally satisfied with virtually every aspect of our stay. The unit is very clean, super conveniently located and has many amenities that enhanced the quality of our visit to Toronto - close to subway, grocery store on site, fitness facilities including swimming pool, parking if needed, walking distance to many, many frequented locales - everything we needed for our week long stay. Elena is a gracious and attentive host and we commend her for making our in/out process streamlined and convenient. We would absolutely stay at Elena's condo when we visit Toronto again. No reservations giving our highest recommendation. Thanks Elena!!!
Elena was very nice. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Great location to walk everywhere. We used the convenient swimming pool in the building for exercise every day. Bed was super comfortable and wifi good. Glad I had read that the room lets in light so I brought a sleep mask. Market downstairs very convenient.

Close to major hospitals, University of Toronto, Ryerson, all attractions with theaters, shopping, parks and subway at your doorstep. Whether you're just shopping on Queen St. or taking advantage of the neighborhood's legendary nightlife at Dundas Square. It's a quick walk to Eaton Center, Massey Hall, Canon Theater and lots of restaurants and cafe's all within walking distance.
