All Apollo condominiums have their balcony facing the white sand beach of Marco Island, but Apollo 306 is located in the more advanced part of the building toward the beach, which has an unobstructed view of the entire beach. From the private and large balcony, you can see the so beautiful crescent part of the beach (to the right) and the south point of the beach (to the left) where dolphins, pelicans, fishing man (and sometimes manatees) like to go. The two walls each side of the balcony give you more privacy for eating at the balcony table or watching breathtaking sunsets on the Gulf of Mexico, sitting in long chairs.

Also, our condo is on the best floor to have close look to the beach. We are just not too high to see well all that happen on the beach, and just high enough to see the beach even when we are sitting in the living or dining room.

Apollo 306 has been redecorated and refurnished, not only with all the amenities of home, but with all the extras possible for your comfort and enjoyment, including:

1 closed bedroom with king-size bed, new mattress (Feb 2015), sheets supplies, flat screen HDTV with BLU-RAY DVD player, cable with PREMIUM CHANNELS & remote, cordless phone, mirror doors, room-darkening window panel and a lot of wood hangers.

1 complete bathroom with telephone shower, towels supplies, comfortable bath rug, hair dryer and iron

1 dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with remodeled cabinets, stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave), blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and all the essential equipment you need for cooking.

1 living room with

- Convertible queen-size sofa and sheets supplies,

- 40' flat screen Sony LCD HDTV with Blu-Ray DVD player, cable and remote

- Premium channels including HBO

- Dock for recharging iPhone/iPod from which you can listen stereo music from iPhone/iPod, CD, MP3, USB key or radio.

-We give you access to the outdoor closet (just aside the condo door) for beach supplies (tommy Bahama's beach cart and beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, water toys). We also permit you or your child to use some sports items we left in the closet (tennis rackets, child's (or woman's) scooter, roller blade for man, 2 adult helmets), but we don't guarantee they work well nor take any responsibility for injury. The beach towels are in the condo with the other towels supply.

There are laundry facilities on each floor ($1.50).

Apollo is a great complex who received a trip advisors' certificate of excellence for 2015. It has: high security and maintenance standards, direct access to the beach, huge heated pool, heated spa with jets, workout room with beach and sunset view, two tennis courts, covered gated parking, indoor/outdoor dining restaurant with beach view, shuffleboard table and a bar that was voted best happy hour on the Island.

Marco Island was voted the best island in USA (2014 traveler's choice). You can do a lot of activities on the island, including the following that are free or not expensive and often not far away:

-Fish excellent fishes like red snappers, near the Apollo, standing in the Gulf of Mexico, while watching the sunset, sometimes among dolphins (for better results, you need to know how to catch live bait with a net)

-Great shelling (including sand dollars when you go to Sand Dollars Beach);

- Play volley ball on the beach in front of the Marriott;

-Go to a restaurant-movie theater that take orders from your table or seat and serve alcohol;

-Go to other restaurants by walk, bike or boat;

-Rent a kayak (some miles aways) and go to inhabited islands (you have choice among the 10 000 islands from which Marco island belong) for shelling or relaxing on the beach and on your way, having the feeling that you are in the tropic islands so the sand is white and the sea emerald;

-Take the car toward Everglade city, looking over a bridge where you can sometimes see manatees and stopping aside a road where you can freely see alligators.

You can also pay more for an Eco tour among the 10 000 islands and the Everglades (in boat or jet ski), but for watching dolphins, they will first stop near the Apollo. And for great shelling, the south point of the Marco beach, near the Apollo, can be almost as generous than Cap Romano when you go in low tide, and even more generous when you know our specific secret spots, which we can tell to our guests.

Me and Daniel bought this condo in 2010. I now manage myself almost all the booking with VRBO and now also with Paypal for guests wanting to save the new VRBO Service Fee. Me and Daniel or my parents go to our condos many times a year to be sure all is in order, and to buy new supply items (beach supply, linen, towels ...).

I answer email every days, and accept online reservation/or send paypal bill to guest writing directly to us, before 24 hours.

When we went in Florida to purchase a condo, Apollo was the hotel who come with our flight. We visited a lot of condos including some on the East side of Florida, but we were not able to find something comparable, so our search end where it started, at the Apollo ! We wanted an unit in the center of the building with no other condo obstructing the panoramic view, and we were lucky to be able to have it with Apollo 306.

What makes this condo unique

We never found another beach front complex with weekly rental permitted and all was perfect with this island, building and condo, except the decoration and furniture that we completely changed.

Beautiful and Clean Condo

My husband and I stayed in this condo for our honeymoon from October 3rd to the 9th. My family has been coming to Marco Island for years, and this was by far one of the most newly remodeled and clean condos I have ever stayed in. The view was incredible as well. My husband and I love the beach, but we are not really ocean swimmers. So it was wonderful to be able to spend time on the balcony in front of the ocean, then go down to the pool for a swim. Everything we needed for meals, etc was also available in the condo. It was very convenient.

The only issue we had were with the drains, which are the reason I gave a 4 star rating instead of a 5. In the paperwork we received beforehand, it mentioned possibly having to use the provided drain cleaner if the drains were slow. We were not prepared for how bad they were though. I used what was left of the drain cleaner in the kitchen sink on the first day, which seemed to resolve that. By the third day though, the tub was draining so slowly that we had about 3 inches of water at our feet by the time we finished each time. I'm sure we could have had the issue resolved by a maintenance person, but we chose to just deal with it as we only had a few showers left to go. This is by no means a reason not to rent this condo, as the rest of the experience was wonderful. It just may be in the owners best interest to have a bit more drain cleaner available, since it is a known issue.

WE LOVE MARCO ISLAND & THE APOLLO

We stayed Jan. 3RD to 30th in this very nice Condo. It is well equiped, comfortable, and the cleanest Condo we have ever stayed in. The Tommy Bahama Beach chairs, cooler umbrellas & the beach tote to take everything to the beach was very nice.

This is the perfect location to have coffee on the balcony while watching the dolphins in the morningn as they swim past and stop to eat and play. In the evenings we had Bloody Mary's on the balcony as we watched them return while wating for the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see. We had very good weather with many days 80 or close to it. It is also fun to watch the paddleboarders, surfers, kite wave rider and para sailers.

We visited many wonderful restaurants that are close by and a movie theater where you can have everything from popcorn to a steak, beer & wine. The Sunset Grill 2 floors down sent many wonderful smells our way. There are many shops to visit and all the water sports you may want to do. We came home with 3 bags of really nice shells that were right in front of the Condo.

The owner is very nice and easy to work with. Everything was just as she said and what is shown in the pictures. It was very hard to come back to cold & snowy Indiana. WE WILL BE BACK TO MARCO ISLAND & THE APOLLO - HOPEFULY FOR MANY YEARS.

Amazing Condo and Great Vacation

My husband and I stayed at this condo from 10/18/14 - 10/25/14. We chose this unit for the location, beautiful balcony views, the updated features in the condo and the amenities offered for the great price. We arrived around 6 pm on Saturday, picked up our keys from the lock box at the rental agency and were in the condo in no time. It was nice having the Sunset Grille downstairs for a quick meal. We made use of the kitchen by eating in several nights and having lunch in the condo when taking a break from the beautiful beach. The condo had everything we needed and more. The storage closet outside the unit with the beach supplies was well stocked with quality beach chairs, umbrellas and cooler. We put them all to good use. The condo was the perfect size for the 2 of us. I would definitely recommend this condo!
