Kayaking and paddle boarding in the Gulf with the sea turtles and dolphins was the best. Looking forward to the next visit

Everything we need for our family

We have stayed here three times in the past and love it every time. We were very impressed with this condo, well maintained and the décor was exceptional. Had a spa treatment (waxing) and recommend them, great staff. Will be returning again :)

Great family vacation

  • 5 of 5

Not a problem in sight and cannot wait to return already. Gorgeous skyhome, beautiful beaches and an amazing property in whole. We chose to stay here for the large number of activities for young ones to do, especially my grandchildren. The cruises were probably our favorite. The skyhome had everything we needed, we had a toilet issue but that was able to be fixed within the hour which is always nice. We will be returning!!

Great Portofino Wedding

  • 5 of 5

I came to Pensacola Beach for a friend’s wedding that was being hosted at Portofino and it was a very pleasant trip. The unit was amazing, everything we could have wanted was provided. Check in and out was a breeze. The cruises were nice to go on as well.

Fantastic Family Vacation Spot- Great for All Ages

  • 5 of 5

I just spent six nights at Portofino Island with my wife, two teenage daughters and about 30 other relatives. We all stayed in Tower 4, with multiple units on the 11th floor. I have to say that we were almost all very satisfied with our stay.

I loved the reserved parking, abundance of rolling luggage carts and ease of loading and unloading this provided. The units are very spacious, nicely-furnished and well stocked with a washer & dryer, dishes, pots & pans, utensils, etc. The bathrooms well spacious as were all of the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the kids did not mind the fold-out sofa bed. The views from the balcony were spectacular, no matter what side of the building you were on.

We did not need to bring much with us. We had everything we needed to cook in the condos. If you wanted to eat out, there are several restaurants onsite. Although you pay a premium, the food was pretty good. But most of the time, we either drove the 10 minutes or so down the beach to one of the restaurants or ate in our room. There is one large resort pool for everyone, but we did not spend much time there. Choosing instead to spend most days across the road at the beach. Although it is a hike over to the beach (75 yards to 1/4 mile, depending on which tower you're in), it is well worth it. There are no better beaches than the panhandle of Florida. The sand is soft and sugar white. The water is emerald green. You can walk way out before the water gets deep. The waves are gentle and there was no seaweed or jellyfish. Plus, it is pretty much a private beach for the guest, since there isn't really any close public access/parking, so it feels very exclusive. It is great for kids and adults alike.

A huge bonus is the beach staff. They are super-attentive, but not overbearing. They will go out of their way to do anything you need, i.e. bring you drink, carry your cooler, help you set-up a tent or cart ice to your spot. When a member of our party injured he leg, one of the staff got a beach wheelchair and wheeled him all the way to his condo. They really went over and beyond and I commend them. I recommend tipping them well.

Palafox Street was recently named a Great Place in America for 2013 by the American Planning Association. APA singled out Palafox for its European influences, eclectic mix of Spanish Colonial and Chicago School architecture, expansive medians and sidewalks, and planning that has helped turn the street into an attractive and successful gateway to downtown Pensacola.

The National Naval Aviation Museum and The Navy's world famous Blue Angels are proud to call Pensacola home!
