This beautiful three bedroom, two bath house is fully furnished with everything you need to feel right at home. Surrounded by pines, the front porch is a great place to relax after a fun day of adventure. There is a washer and dryer, a large fully equipped kitchen, one queen size bed, and two double beds, and a fold out couch in the living room.
Conveniently located 10 miles from the west entrance to Glacier Park, and just a short drive to Hungry Horse Dam and Recreation area. Shopping is available nearby and Big Sky Water Park and Glacier Maze are just a few miles away.
We stayed in the house with six adults. There was more than enough room for us. The house was immaculate, comfortable and well stocked. There were plenty of linens available and the beds were very comfortable. Karen was very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend the house for anyone visiting the Glacier area and would be happy to stay here again!
First, this is not a cabin; it's a house. It is just a few blocks off the highway but surrounded by tall pines, very secluded yet only 15 min. from West Glacier. It was nice to come home to the peaceful little town of Hungry Horse after the tiring days in the park. The house was very clean, with plenty of room to spread out. Karen was very helpful and we'll stay here again if we ever go back to explore Glacier again!
My group and I were very fortunate to stay in this great cabin. This was an amazing deal as the price was right, and the location was right. The cabin was very clean, and had all the amenities needed. The internet service was fast! The owner Karen was great, very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if given the chance.
Wonderful home! Spacious, clean, comfortable and nestled in the pines. Access to West Glacier entrance to the park was quick and easy. Karen and Curly are perfect hosts.
We chose this property after reading reviews. The reviews were right. It was fabulous. It was nice for my elderly parents to have the main floor bedroom and bathroom. The home is very clean and has all you need to have a nice get-away. Karen is gracious, kind, and attentive. If we come this way again we will stay right here!!!!
What a great find! We booked this house after searching for a while on line looking for a good fit for 2 families traveling with teenagers. After corresponding with Karen, the manager, we were convinced this was the perfect place for us. The location can't be beat--just 15 minutes to the west entrance of Glacier National park. Karen made sure we had everything we needed. It was great to have linens provided, too. She was friendly and helpful and so easy to work with. The house had plenty of room and seating for all. Lots of movies and board games to enjoy in the evening after a fun day exploring Glacier. The house was spotless and the kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor grill was great. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood off the beaten path. Glacier is a must-see national park--it is gorgeous! Incredible waterfalls (especially Virginia Falls), since the snow was still melting, and still snow pack at Logan Pass! The Going to the Sun Road is awesome and the best way to see the park. We enjoyed several hikes, and in particular, the boat ride from Many Glacier Hotel which Karen recommended to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would absolutely recommend this property to friends and family.
We are 10 miles from the west entrance to Glacier Park. Glacier Maze and Big Sky Water Park are nearby, both offering mini golf, and other activities for kids. There are 3 Whitewater Raft Companies in the area as well as horseback riding. Hungry Horse Reservoir offers many picnic areas. Whitefish Mountain is a short drive and offers activities such as zip line and walk in the treetops. Nearby Kalispell has shopping and cinemas. Bigfork and Whitefish offer lots of little shops in old downtown settings.
