A short walk through one of the most architecturally interesting parts of LA (or anywhere!) brings you to Abbot Kinney Blvd with its spectacular restaurants, funky shops, experimental food trucks, great coffee and trendy bars. Another five minutes’ walk to Venice Beach (swim, surf, volleyball, people watching) and the Windward arches, famous location for Orson Welles’ 1958 Touch of Evil. Or stroll through the fascinating, lovely walk streets. Perfect for artists and writers, a great place to work, play or just chill out.
2 queens, and an office with tri-fold floor futon suitable for one adult (happy to share photo or answer any questions over the phone if this description isn't clear); cooks’ kitchen; wifi and cable included. Rates are subject to change at anytime, without notice. We do not have AC, but we find our ceiling fans to cool this ground floor unit sufficiently. Central heat. Loved this house. I wished I could have just moved in...it was a roomy home ideally situated for access to all the great areas that Venice has to offer and a great respite for ending our day. And most importantly we were well taken care of when we had questions or concerns. It truly met and exceeded all my expectations for comfort, location, space and service. I would highly recommend...and will be coming back!
We stayed in this house for two weeks in early April and it is a nice, clean comfortable place. It is well located being within easy walking distance to Abbot Kinney Boulevarde and Venice Beach. It is also close to Santa Monica, Lincoln Boulevarde and the Santa Monica Airport. WiFi was fabulous and the house was an excellent size for a family of four, nicely decorated and appointed. We would happily recommend this property to others.
A lovely, comfortable, stylish and spotless clean home. In a great location for visiting Venice. Comfortable beds, 2 full bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, nice little yard to sit outside. Highly recommend this house!
Our family of 4 just had 5 nights in this gorgeous rental and loved everything about it. It has been newly renovated throughout and is incredibly clean, comfortable and stylish in a laidback, relaxed beach style. Spacious living areas and bedrooms, with access to a great outdoor area amongst a landscaped, native garden. The house has two full bedrooms with really comfortable beds and great linens and loads of extra blankets etc. There is a study (not a third bedroom) with a fold out futon-style mattress available that even my 11 year old would not sleep on ... so I don't think an adult would find it comfortable. A full kitchen with everything you need (including basic supplies), plus a washing machine and dryer (with laundry detergent supplied).
Excellent location, only a 5 minute flat walk to Abbot Kinney Boulevard with funky restaurants, shops etc (head to Intelligentsia for great coffee) .... then another 5 minutes to the middle of Venice Beach. With a family, I felt more comfortable staying this distance from the beach and the colourful characters that inhabit it! We always found street parking out the front and enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood.
The property managers made it very easy and met us at the house with the keys when we arrived from the airport, and when we were leaving. I would highly recommend this property and the photos on this website are 100% accurate. The map however needs to be adjusted as it is completely incorrect!
