Overview

Bartlett House Rental Photos and Description

Chalet, 4 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 9)

This pet friendly chalet on a nicely wooded lot is on a quiet road across from the Flat Rocks Conservation Area and the East Branch Saco river. You can hang out on the large deck listening to the sounds of the river. For warm days, there’s a great swim hole 100 yards away (see the river pictures below). When you're ready to head out, North Conway Village and Jackson Village with their shopping and restaurants are both just 5 minutes away. For winter getaways, we're just minutes from the skiing at Attitash, Wildcat, Cranmore, and Black mountains.

With 4 bedrooms and 6 beds we can accommodate up to 9 guests comfortably. There's a large dining room table and well equipped kitchen for cooking in and great restaurants nearby if you want to eat out. If the weather is cool or you're just looking for some extra ambiance the fireplace (firewood included) may be just the thing.

The home and location are well suited to families and quiet groups looking to enjoy the beauty and numerous activities available in the Mount Washington Valley. There is a small sloped side yard but it’s a rough surface so kids will find better areas to play in the conservation area across the street and along the river.

We want your stay to be as relaxing as possible so the rental includes all linens and basic supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap).

Affordable house for 4-6 people in the White Mountains area in NH.

  • 4 of 5

Very good location, easy to find, quiet, no-frills but perfectly adequate. The one small bathroom probably limits how many people you'd want to be with more than the number of beds. This house is a great jumping off point to get to the many local attractions and the Flat Rocks part of the east branch of the Saco River (essentially right across the street) is lovely. Very quick email responses from owner when we had questions. We did not frequent any local restaurants; were very happy to eat at the house, reheating meals we'd brought prepared and doing some minimal cooking in the kitchen. In summary: good value for your dollar if you're small group wanting to be in this area of the White Mountains.

Owner's Response: We're glad the renters enjoyed their stay and felt comfortable at the house! One clarification, there is one full bathroom (downstairs) and a 1/2 bath upstairs (which is also where the washer/dryer is located).

Good sized house in a great location in the White Mountains of New Hampshire

  • 4 of 5

Great location. House had everything we needed for a family holiday with 3 older children. We really enjoyed the BBQ grill, the river just across the lane, and the easy access to North Conway and the White Mountains. Four good sized bedrooms and the large upstairs lounge and dining room ensured we had more than enough room to relax and enjoy New Hampshire. Thoroughly recommend by us!

Great layout, great location - great stay

  • 4 of 5

We had two families staying at this house for our visit to Storyland and Santas Village. The location is GREAT - super close to Storyland, easy access to town, restaurants - and Dunkin Donuts!!

The layout worked great for us, with two small children as we were able to settle them in their rooms, then enjoy some deck and TV time upstairs. The river is right across the street and we enjoyed a quick swim on Sunday morning.

Well maintained home, clean, had everything we needed and lots of notes around the house to help find everything!

Last minute get away

  • 4 of 5

Took a chance on this rental for a last minute get away. We were meeting other people for the weekend so we would only be sleeping there. The living space and bedrooms were clean. Didn't get a chance to take advantage of the swim area across the street but it looked great. A very quite, easy to find home. It is close to everything. Plenty of space and pet friendly. Rick was great accommodating us last minute. Cozy furnishings. We didn't end up cooking there, so we didn't use the kitchen, but it appeared fully stocked. The home has many stairs so I wound not recommend it for elderly. Thanks to Rick, we pulled off a fun filled weekend.
