Quiet Neighborhood, Beautiful Home
We had a wonderful 2 week stay in this gorgeous, riverfront home. Though it was cold and windy during our stay we spent some time on the beach relaxing and the kids really enjoyed the game tables in the basement. The neighborhood is to die for. We couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to live in such a beautiful place. We even met a couple of the neighbors who were kind and welcoming. They even invited us over for some beers. If we find ourselves in the Maryland again we will definitely book this home again. Thanks for everything.
Clean and nice. About 25 minutes from downtown Annapolis by car. Views were great.
Great view and fire pit a plus!
Had a wonderful trip to Crownsville. The house was well equipped and the view was great. Friends docked their boat and we were able to enjoy some fabulous restaurants. There were even some toys at the beach area for our 3-year old. First night some of our adults complained about the stairs to beach but by second day it was just good exercise. Highly recommend!
Fantastic family vacation and property
Fantastic multigenerational family vacation with four kids (2.5, 3, 3.5 & 5.5). Excellent home with well stocked boat shed an added bonus. Everything we needed and more to make a lifetime of family memories. Very helpful, informative and responsive property owner a plus.
Also visited the Pirate Adventure in Annapolis, Watkins Regional Park near DC and the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
Perfect house, perfect beach, perfect location
This house was everything we wanted and more! Our four kids range in age from 12 to 18 and there was something for everyone. The kitchen has every plate, bowl, utensil you could need. One of the closets is stocked full of beach towels so you don't need to pack your own. There is an outdoor shower right outside the door so you're not tracking sand all over the house. Little touches like that make your vacation even better. When we weren't eating ice cream or seafood in Annapolis or checking out museums and monuments in DC, we were on the beach. The water is so warm and the sand is supersoft. The depth increases very gradually, so it's perfect for families with young kids. Our kids spent hours in the kayaks, checking out the amazing houses and boats all around our section the river. They also fished off the pier, which was so much fun.
One of the best parts of the house is the coffee shop that is five minutes away. Once you have Bean Rush coffee, nothing else compares! Lures is also nearby and a great place for dinner.
If you go to Annapolis, Carol's Creek has gorgeous outdoor dining and fantastic food. You've got to try the orange chocolate ice cream at the Annapolis ice cream company.
Ebbits in DC is also so so good!
We could not have ordered better weather or asked for a more perfect vacation.
Great house, well maintained, well stocked, the beach is fantastic, the neighbors are very nice. We had a great stay and would love to come back!
10 Miles to Annapolis. Waterfront Home, Navy Academy, Annapolis, 15 minutes from downtown. Private beach, pier, boat dock, parking for 5 cars, sailing, water sports, great water fowl watching, fishing, crabbing, family reunion retreat.
