Give yourself and your family a wonderful Hawaiian vacation!!!
The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Tons of fresh white towels, kitchenware and an amazing view of Diamond Head. Just wish we could have stayed longer.
What a beautiful home filled with aloha!! The view is breathtaking! Cristin thank you so much for sharing you home!!❤️
What a lovely experience! The house is *perfectly* set up -- beach towels, beach gear, every little thoughtful convenience. It's very fresh and airy and extremely clean. I love the classic 1940s interiors, and the huge covered lanai (porch) in front has stunning views of Diamond Head and downtown Honolulu. Access to the restaurants of the nearby Kaumuki neighborhood, to Waikiki, the beach, Safeway, and Haunama Bay are all easy and close by.
If you are staying on a Friday night, be sure to watch out for the fireworks over Waikiki around 7:45pm -- an unexpected treat on our last night. Cristina and her family were wonderful hosts, and their house downstairs seems completely detached and our place upstairs felt very private. Highly recommended and we'd love to stay there again!
This home had everything that a real home has. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishes and pots and pans. If you like sitting out on a lanai at night overlooking the city lights you will absolutely love this place. Cristin is a wonderful hostess, we had to call her at 10:30pm because we did know how to turn on the deluxe double oven. Cristin graciously came upstairs and taught us how to turn it on so that we could cook our pizza. Cristin is awesome!!! This house had plenty of room and privacy. The bed in the master bedroom was a bit firm, but if you like a firm mattress then it will be fine for you. The only thing we couldn't find was a measuring cup, but we just made due. It was a fabulous experience staying here, definitely will do it again.

Absolutely wonderful view. Christin thank you so much for sharing your home with our family. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone.
The Schecter family
This is a real home with a nice vintage feel and great view. It has a fully outfitted kitchen, functional dining room, living room with cozy conversation area, three bedrooms and, best of all, two bathrooms with showers. It can easily accommodate 2 couples, a pair of kids, and a third couple on the futon in the living room. It also has an expansive lanai with additional dining and seating opportunities and a marvelous view from way up high of Diamond Head, Waikiki and the ocean beyond. It is an easy drive (straight down) to the tourist areas of Waikiki and back (straight up). Very narrow, steep roads, but drivers are gracious. Not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties, because of the flight of steps up to the entrance on the lanai, and the challenge of emerging from a car parked on a slope (both driveway and on-street parking). But if you don't mind hills, this is an uncrowded and wonderful place to enjoy Honolulu and environs. Cristin and her young family live downstairs, and were helpful and courteous, without hovering. Would definitely stay again, with my crowd of 8!
