Disclaimer: Construction for the San Francisco Transbay will last until the end of 2015, two properties away from the building. Monday to Saturday, therefore it may be more noise than usual (We provide earplugs and a sound machine just in case). We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.
Property itself was fine nothing fancy. Go to Thirstybear brewery great food and drink.
I think this location is a bit overpriced but it's better than hotel rates.
This is a very affordable place to stay in an expensive part of town- We were very happy in the apartment for the week. I would recommend it to anyone. We had excellent service from the Rose reservation team.
Poor sound isolation and could not access to backyard, the door was condemned. Otherwise the location was nice, and the apartment was descent and comfortable.
No issues at all with this condo.
Its a little "tired" but very adequate for the value.
NO issues with the Transit Center construction. NO needs for earplugs.
The location was excellent for our needs. AT&T a 10 minute walk. Same for Market Street and BART.
Management was very easy to work with. Responsive and courteous.
Far better value than a hotel. I'd recommend this over a hotel any day.
Spent a week here with a colleague for a conference at Union Square in late March, and it was a great place to stay as a hotel alternative. The description and most of the positive reviews are accurate. Zero hassle getting questions answered or information for very late night check-in. It's not too far of a walk to the various conference venues or Embarcadero, and pleasantly outside of the hustle - and construction, currently - of Union Square. Apartment could use a touch up or two, as others have mentioned - the sheets and towels are a bit on the shabby/well worn side, and nothing is particularly state-of-the-art...but if you're looking for a place to stay for two adults or a couple with children, this is a clean and nice option. We didn't need to use either heat or fans, as we had nice weather the whole trip. The building is older and this unit is on the 2nd floor, so street noise is very bad during the weekdays whether or not there is construction going on out front. You will also hear every footfall coming from the upstairs renters. I broke down and used earplugs after two sleepless nights. This is simply a fact of city life (I used to live in San Fran), but something to keep in mind if you're not a heavy sleeper or coming from a less urban area. But overall the convenience of a kitchen, on-site and free laundry, and clean and comfortable space for myself and my colleague to not feel like we were falling all over each other like we would have in a hotel makes me highly recommend this place as a safe, fun alternative option.
The property was in a great location for our needs and priced competitively compared to other nearby options. The key/entry system proved to be a boon for our group, as it made staggered re-/entry much less of a hassle throughout the week. (We were in town for a conference, so often had different obligations in the evenings; not having to worry about who had keys was great.)
If you plan on staying here with a child, note that you must pass through the back bedroom (with the single bed) in order to access the bathroom, which could possibly disturb someone already asleep there.
I would happily stay at this property again.
Excellent location near cafes and restaurants within easy walk (i.e., Boulevard, Hawthorne Lane, Town Hall, Palomino, Yang Sing) this apartment is very downtown and convenient to everything, just three blocks from the Embarcadero (Ferry Building, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf).
Only two blocks from Moscone Center - convenient for conventions/trade shows, businesses in the Soma neighborhood (Salesforce, CNET, Google, Blackrock, Orrick, etc), and tourist destinations
