Sedona is universally noted for its beauty; mountains surround the city and they literally change color depending upon the whim of the sun.
It's a metaphysical place with energy "hot spots" called vortexes. 4 of them.
It's a hiker's paradise with enough trails to keep the most savage outdoors-person occupied for months and not be able to experience them all.
Music abounds; activities galore for the most relaxes to the most energetic.
I know all this because Frannie knows it all.
Her place, Casa Bella Vista is just incredible. She's been a "local" for 30+ years and there is nothing, and I mean nothing, Frannie doesn't know about Sedona.
The best hike? Frannie knows.
The best breakfast? Frannie knows.
The best turquoise mens ring with spider-web matrix and silver band made a Navajo co-op with a lifetime guarantee and free repair for under $200 within 10 miles?
Yep, Frannie knows.
And why am I fixated on Frannie and not her property?
Because Frannie IS her property.
Imagine your ideal place to stay. Imagine big! What do you need for it to be perfect?
Hot tub? Got that.
Big over-stuffed king-sized Master bedroom mattress that you almost need stairs to climb into it? Got that.
Well stocked kitchen with almost every conceivable appliance, assuming you're not a chef in a 5-star restaurant?
A library of facts about Sedona; where to go, what to do, what it costs, how long will it take to get there? Got that
The ability to walk and accomplish all your errands. Got that.
Breath-taking views. Yep. Got that.
You see my point here?
Dream big...imagine everything you want. Make a list.
Then when you're ready, call Frannie.
No need to thank me.
Thank Frannie...for her amazing place, her amazing presence in an amazing town.
This property has it all..... Beautiful views, lovely interior and great location. The views from the condo are stunning. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Sedona. You will not be disappointed.
Fran's property is immaculate, spacious, beautifully decorated, and has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. It's centrally located allowing quick access to everything Sedona has to offer, but secluded enough to provide peace and quiet after a long day of sightseeing and hiking. This home also has THE BEST view. It was amazing to wake up to the view of majestic mountains every morning. The only thing that beat the view was the hospitality. Fran was such a gracious host who made sure my parents and I had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. I loved the fact that she had a binder with all the nearby attractions and restaurants. Very helpful. I highly recommend he property and will definitely stay again if and when my travels bring me back to Sedona.
We decided to stay in Sedona after I had visited the town last year while on a short vacation. My wife was a little skeptical at first on the "beauty" of Sedona as I had described, but once there she was taken aback and couldn't say enough good things about Sedona. The home was fantastic, and my daughter enjoyed her own bed and bath, as my wife and I enjoyed our own room and bath. We had great food and great day-trips to the surrounding areas, as well as jeep tours, horse-back riding, and visiting the national parks water holes for swimming and cooling off from the heat. Fran made us feel at home and provided anything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen for home cooked meals, as well as doing laundry as we needed. We also enjoyed the hot tub many nights while there. Overall we had the most fantastic time in Sedona and plan on returning soon as well as possibly retiring here---my wife's convinced! Fran was a perfect hostess and "plumber" when needed. She is unequaled in her hospitality. Definitely a return soon to Sedona.
This was one of the best vacations my husband and I have ever had! The home has an incredible view of the mountains. We were in Sedona during monsoon season and so we were treated to some awesome thunder and lightening storms at night over the mountains...then it was sunny again the next morning! We had a great kitchen and a BBQ so we were able to make our own breakfasts before we went hiking or sightseeing. We barbequed steaks and pizzas and had so much fun shopping the Whole Foods store and the Co-op store that are both close by. The property is located near restaurants and shopping and you can walk to many of them, although you never see any of it from the property...just beautiful scenery. There are even hiking trails within a few minutes of the house. There is a big jetted tub for after your hike and a cute covered deck for cocktail hour. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer while we were there. Fran Jackson, the property manager, went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. We felt like we could have stayed there forever in our little hideaway! This property is best for one couple due to its size, but there is an attached larger property that is stunning and would accommodate a few more people...it also has beautiful views and a larger kitchen and living area. These properties are in a great central location without losing the amazing mountain views. We can't wait to come back!
We decided to go to Sedona to get some sunshine after some rainy days in Las Vegas. We were not disappointed with our choice of location. Fran made us extremely welcome, giving us the low down on the town and the best places to shop, eat and drink. Her recommendations were spot on. The villa is not in the very centre of town but is not far - I'd guess a 15 minute walk.
We enjoyed the hot tub (very much) and used the very well stocked kitchen to cook our own meals. We also used the BBQ out on the small deck. The villa was very comfortable, with air conditioning and heating and a fireplace. The laundry meant we could refresh our clothes before moving to our next destination. Fran even provided the powder!
Unfortunately, not owning a waste disposal at home, I managed to block it on the last day. Fran was very kind and told me not to worry. She managed to get it repaired at a low cost and only deducted that from our deposit, giving us the balance. I thought that was very honest of her.
This is a really lovely place to stay, with an extremely friendly and kind hostess.
Steps away from Sedona's exclusive Gallery District along Highway 179. Walking distance to shops, galleries, restaurants, National Forest Trailhead and Oak Creek.
