Welcome to the Hickory Ridge Cabin! Come on by, there is room to sleep 10! If you want to kick back and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Broken Bow/Beaver's Bend then look no farther. This custom built cabin, nestled into the pine and hickory forest, was built to take in the stunning scenery and abundant wildlife. The cabin features 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, with a large open vaulted living area designed for entertaining, and family/group gathering. This 1,650 square foot cabin was built with hardwood white oak, and warm tile floors. The interior is tempered with central heat and air. The outside features a 64' x 10' porch/deck spanning the length of the cabin, of which 48' is covered. The wood porch is perfect for calm mornings that brag cool temperatures, and neat amenities that invite you to relax and enjoy the view.
If you own a boat or RV and plan on utilizing it on the lake or in the park, there is an included parking area attached to the circle drive that will suffice for all your storage needs. The circle drive makes it effortless to back into and out of the designated parking area. No need to park on the road, there is plenty of room for your RV/boat, as well as multiple cars.
Three of the Hickory Ridge Cabin bedrooms feature queen sized beds, while the fourth bedroom contains a pair of bunk beds. All in all, Hickory Ridge Cabin will sleep 10 comfortably! One bathroom has a Tub/Shower combo, while the other has a tiled walk in shower, but both were built with custom tile floors.
Hickory Ridge Cabin makes it easy for vacationers to fix their family's meal. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, oven, stove top, dishwasher, and disposal. Don't worry about lugging your dirty clothes around since there is a washer/dryer near the kitchen.
Entertainment is what the Hickory Ridge Cabin is all about! There are two eating areas, along with an outside dining table. If you want to grill, feel free with the dual charcoal/gas grill. Spend a little time relaxing in the evenings by the fire pit, or just hang out on the porch with your family.
One of the great parts of Hickory Ridge Cabins is it proximity to the lake and trout fishing habitat, as both are 1 mile away. Go spend the day out on the lake, or pick up your fishing rod and try your luck out on the river. The Lower Mountain Fork River is known as one of the two year round cold water fisheries in the state of Oklahoma. It has been featured on Trout Unlimited's 'The Rise' television show, and has gained national recognition as a wonderful trout stream. Just take the time and check out the Evening Hole (restored by Trout Unlimited and the Lower Mountain Fork River Foundation) and you will see what I am talking about. Take the family horseback riding, or just jump in a tube or canoe and take a float down the river. There are too many things to do here!
If you are a serious fly fisherman, you will love the custom fly tying table. While your family and friends talk in the living room, you can tie up and craft your own flies for the next days outing. There are countless activities to enjoy here in Broken Bow/Beaver's Bend, so come in and let Hickory Ridge Cabin start your vacation off on the right step.
Note: Hickory Ridge Cabin property is settled on a slight to moderate incline. There are 3 separate stairs leading to the porch/front door. Please take note for children and elderly.

We knew about the beauty of the Broken Bow and Beavers Bend area, mainly because my wife is from Southeast Oklahoma . We wanted to build a cabin that our family could use to enjoy all the sites and activities of the lake, mountains, and river. Our two sons have small children that are going to be able to enjoy this for many years to come. It is a great place to just relax and enjoy cool mornings on the porch, or fishing on a beautiful trout habitat full of rainbow and brown trout. If hiking, swiming, or biking are things you enjoy, then you are at the right place here at Hickory Ridge Cabin. Antique shops are close, as well as a winery. We have enjoyed each trip we have made to Hickory Ridge and look forward to spending more time at this beautiful property. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Please contact us if you need anything, as we want you to have a great time at Hickory Ridge Cabin.
Eddie Brister purchased this cabin in 2011
My wife and I are both educators that enjoy the outdoors. We have two sons and two wonderful daughters-in-law. Four grand children also bless our lives. The Broken Bow/Beaver's Bend area has so much to offer. Each time we come up new activities seem to appear. The wildlife, mountains, lake and river all have somthing to offer. Small children will love the park, horseback riding, water activites, and train ride in the forest of the national park.
We enjoy the sounds of the area early in the morning and late in the day. Sitting by the firepit and having a cup of coffee on the large deck can be the best part of our trips. When we want to enjoy the fishing, hiking, or other lake activities, they are less than a mile away. Hickory Ridge Cabin is equiped to provide a very comfortable stay.
I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cabin in the Broken Bow area. It's in a nice quiet wooded neighborhood with the state park and fishing right down the road.
Very clean, well kept. Plenty of towels and bedding, kitchen supplies, pretty much everything you might need. My two kids had a blast here- we made smores at the fire pit and they loved the porch swings! It was our first trip to Broken Bow and everything exceeded my expectations. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back!
The time spent at the cabin was amazing. Our family spent some much needed time with out cell phones and internet. We played games and fished and rode bikes around the in the park. The cabin location is great. Eddie and Roberta are wonderful host. The cabin has everything you would every needed for cooking and the décor makes you feel right home. We look forward to our next visit and planning it now.
The Priddy's Milburn, OK
Well this is our 2nd annual trip to beavers bend. The cabin was Great!!! Everything was clean. You have everything you need at the cabin. Eddie and Berta are the best host ever.... The are friendly, fair, fun. I would recommend this place to anyone
We had a wonderful time at Hickory Ridge! We have stayed at another property owned by the Bristers and just like every time we visit, they have thought of everything! This couple who also own the Beaver's Bend Fly Shop inside the State Park (Currently being rebuilt after the December flooding in this area) have thought of everything! When you walk into this cabin you feel like you just entered a family friends house. In our case, they are friends, BUT, even if you don't know them you will feel the same way! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need and the same goes for each bathroom and bedroom. The beds were comfortable with soft linens and plenty of extra blankets and pillows if you need them. They even have kids toys tucked away under the 4 large bunk beds with age appropriate movies and a gaming system with TV to keep the little ones happy. Under the TV in the main living space we were pleased to find lots of games, magazines, books and movies to keep the adults or older kids entertained as well. All this is nice, but the other added benefit of this cabin is the outdoor fire ring stocked with wood and a gas grill nearby. There is an abundant amount of parking available and even room to pass two cars side by side or park a boat or small trailer if you need it. Our 3 and 5-year-olds loved to explore the small creek just down the hill looking for frogs and other squirmy things lurking about. The neighbors were quite during our stay, but with Hickory Ridge tucked away on this hillside surrounded by trees you barely know they are there at all. The porch has 4 comfy hanging hammock chairs in addition to plenty of patio chairs and tables for enjoying the surroundings. One benefit of the whole structure is that once you ascend the porch stairs the living space is all on one level. We traveled with 4 generations of our family and everyone was able to get around safely with handrails and wide, stable staircases. No matter if you are traveling to enjoy the outdoors or just need a get away from reality, this cabin will not disappoint! There is an abundance of space and comfort amenities to suit everyone that visits!
We met up with family for a weekend away and time to plan a reunion at Beaver's Bend. The cabin was just what we needed, well stocked and comfortable. We spent time visiting around the fire pit and playing games, it was a great stay.
Our group of 3 families really enjoyed our time at Hickory Ridge Cabin! The cabin had plenty of room and we loved the outdoors and nature very close by!
Thanks for a nice, affordable place to get away and enjoy God's creation! And thank you so much for the military discount! A great blessing to our friends who served our country!
