Escape to our affordable oceanfront duplex that has interconnecting doors in the dining rooms. The home has a bright, airy, cottage feel with stunning views of the ocean and nature. Admire the view from the inside or step outside onto the covered porch to catch an oceanfront breeze. There is also a dune landing steps from the beach with a bench and more outstanding views. Due to Emerald Isle's restricted off street parking the beautiful beaches are never crowded.
Two fully equipped kitchens. Amenities also include hi-speed wireless service, outdoor shower and washer/dryer.
Additional Information: Emerald Isle's unique location affords homes on the island both beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Our home is located at the end of a no-through street so there is no traffic. The house is located minutes from restaurants, shopping, golf, kayaking, movie theatres, fishing, biking, water slide parks, tennis, basketball courts, an aquarium and many other activities. Other interests in the area include visits to historic Beaufort, Fort Macon, Swansboro, 1/2 or full day trips to Hammocks Beach State Park or Cape Look Out. (Both of these islands do not have any homes or commercial development and have great shelling.)
Rentals are Sunday-Sunday. There is no smoking policy and no pets are allowed. You must be at least 25 years old to rent the property. Prices listed are for weekly rentals. Nightly rentals are available off season or last minute during prime season if a week opens up. Prices include linens and cleaning during high season and cleaning only during off season. Note: Rates are subject to change without notice until confirmed.
This property has been owned by two families since 2001. Both families reside in the Raleigh area. Debbie is originally from Swansboro NC, Elly is from South Africa and her husband Roy is from Ireland! We all love the beach and all it has to offer and we hope you will enjoy our house as much as we do and create your own special memories here!

We bought this house because we fell in love with the incredible ocean views, the expansive beach area and the relative quiet that enables us to enjoy downtime with family and friends.
We had such a great time in this great house. Plenty of room for three generations. The kitchens were well equipped for a large crowd, the house is bright, clean and comfy, and the beach front is perfect for kids. We all loved the outdoor shower:)
This vacation was much needed and thanks to Debbie and the beautiful Catalina duplex it turned out to be amazing! Having both sides was perfect for our group and the view of the ocean was incredible. Already have another trip in the works!
We absolutely loved staying here and are already looking at staying next year and the years to come.
It was cozy and just the perfect amount of space. If there were 2 large families it would do well on each side.
We LOVED having the outside shower so we could "de-sand" from the fun day at the beach.
Previous renters or the owners had left items for the beach such as buckets and boogie boards which the kids loved being able to borrow. We even added a few to the small collection for future vacationers.
We also loved having the 2 kitchens, 4 bathrooms and laundry room. There is plenty of kitchen items for those that like to cook.
