Clearwater Beach has been voted one of the top beaches in the US year after year. Our house is located right on the beach in the quieter north end. No street parking is allowed to ensure quietness and security.
Located on the quieter part of the beach yet within walking distance or short trolley ride to the excitement of Pier 59, Beach Walk and the main beach. Exploring the Caladesi Island state park is easier than ever now that the Caladesi Island and the Clearwater Beach Island are linked together by a shift in the ocean sand.
The house is wonderful!! So far, more than we expected!!! We all can't wait to enjoy it when we get back from Disney.
We had a great experience and all pictures posted on the site are 100% accurate. The owners are very nice and the house is very clean and beautiful. Kitchen is a great size and there are plenty of books and games to entertain the family. We can't wait to return!
This little cottage was exactly as described. Right outside Carlouel on Clearwater beach. The home is an older property that has been added onto and added onto which typically means meandering hallways and weird "linen" closets but this place was well done. Given its history the home was quite cozy and that lent itself to lots of quiet sleeping quarters.
The kitchen was upgraded with high end stainless steel appliances. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were big enough and the master was huge. Rooftop sun deck was pretty cool. There is enough parking for 5 vehicles which is important if you have a large family. You cannot park in the street.
The floors were a little dirty when we arrived. Nothing a quick swiffer couldn't handle. However, the garage code we were given for access was the same one printed in the welcome booklet. This lead us to believe the same garage code is given to every renter. If so, a previous renter can easily gain access to the property while you are staying there. While you are staying there you can lock the doors and nobody can gain access but when you are away somebody from a previous stay could easily come in. There are no door keys, unless we missed them? This can be easily rectified by updating the garage key pad code with each new guest. We have a beach house up the street and recode all of our doors for each guest.
My husband and I really enjoyed our week here. Very quickly got into a beach routine............that reminded us of summer. Walk out the back door to the patio for coffee, then a little swimming, sunbathing at the beach or heading back to the patio for afternoon shade................or upstairs to the roof top deck. Perfect.
We extremely enjoyed the perfect quiet location on the quiet end of the beach, the proximity and the extremely easy access to the beach, the warm athmosphere of the house, the sunsets, ....
The house is extremely well equipped with everything you can think of, be it in the kitchen, the living room, the bathrooms, ...
Very close to many attractions: Orlando, Tampa, Clearwater, Caladesi, ... and shops.
We (group of 7: 2 grandmothers, 2 teen.agers, 2 parents and a 4 year old) will definitely come again!
Thank you very much for letting us spend an unforgettable holiday in such a wonderful place.
This cottage was so adorable, you couldn't beat the location on the beach. It was very relaxing and everything you needed was there. We loved the
roof top, most evenings we would pour a glass of wine and head up there to watch the beautiful sunsets. The master bedroom was spacious and the
bathroom was awesome. Nice upgraded washer & dryer for your convenience, and spacious utility room. The property managers were there the next
day to see if everything was ok. We told them about a couple of things, and they fixed them right away. We also expressed our concerns about the
mattresses, the one in the master room was extra extra firm and we could not get used to it. If you like sleeping on an extra firm mattress with no cushion
you'll have no problem. My suggestion would be to get a mattress pad with some cushion to it. The second bedroom with the queen size bed was very
squeaky, we brought it to the property managers attention and they told us it was the box spring. They said they would talk to the property owner about
this and possible get it replaced. They never got back to us. They also told us we were the 1st to complain about the beds, but when I looked at the
other reviews there was a complaint about the beds & mattresses needing updating in Nov of 2013. All, I can say is when our guest left, (they moved
to the 3rd bedroom with the twin beds, which was the only place they and we were able to get a good night sleep), we slept in there for the last 2 days
of our trip. This place would have been perfect if the mattresses were updated. When you pay this kind of money to go on vacation, beds our very important. You need to feel well rested, not tired when you leave.
We had the extreme pleasure of staying here and enjoyed every minute of it. This home is inviting, comfortable and both the homeowner and property managers are very accomidating. They truly have the desire to make your stay perfect! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to take your family.
