About Ruby Jordan

We have owned and operated vacation cabins since 1999. We are here to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

Ruby Jordan purchased this cabin in 2006

Why Ruby Jordan chose Oklahoma

We grew up in Broken Bow OK, as did our parents. Our children live here as well.

What makes this cabin unique

We have just one other cabin on the property. It is very secluded and surrounded by forest and wildlife -- but so easy to find. The other cabin, Porch Time (VRBO 789718) sleeps 7 and could be reserved if you have a larger group. Both cabins together will sleep a maximum of ten. More information can be found at our website

Guestbook comments from the owner

Note from owner: these comments were left in cabin journal:

Thank you, the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire. It was very fun. Thank you for letting us come here.

Perfect Home Away From Home!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin could not be more perfect for a honeymoon or couples' trip in general! It had an amazing location for everything we wanted to Broken Bow/Hochatown! It was close to hiking at Mountain Fork River (via 259A entrance), to antique shopping, and to the amazing pizza place Grateful Head!

The cabin was stocked with everything! From filters for your coffee to cotton balls in the bathroom and everything in between! It was also the cleanest vacation rental I've ever stayed in, cabin or otherwise.

Its very obvious that the owners care for their property and want the best experience for their renters!

Highly recommend this property!

Owner's Response: We're happy to know that yet another guest "got it" that we want to provide a little place for our guests to totally relax. We work on the cabin, but we take no credit for the beautiful part of the world that we live in.

Property was nice

  • 3 of 5

There was insufficient information for finding the place leaving us sitting on the side of the road for an hour. The problem was with the owner's internet but there should have been a double check to make sure we had received all necessary information from someone. You as facilitator had responsibility in that. Very disappointed.

Owner's Response: I'm deeply sorry that our guest did not receive the detailed directions that I "sent" to him. I was unaware that all of my outgoing mail was sitting in my outbox because of a technical problem with my internet. He does understand that and was pleased with the cabin itself. His call to VRBO and me for the directions led me to check other guests who might be having the same problem. Thanks to him, those guests were spared the inconvenience. And it has made me even more aware of the importance of contacting our guests before they leave their homes headed for our cabins.

They had everything you could possibly ask for or need. Better prepared for their guest than any hotel we have ever stayed in

  • 5 of 5

This place was well worth the cost, they supply pretty much everything u need, the hot tub was nice, and problem I had was the burn ban that started the day we arrived witch was not their fault, would recommend to anyone that wants to stay close to bevers bend and not have to pay alot to have a great stay, the owners where very helpfull and came out to greet us and ask if we needed anything.

We're just minutes from the Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake, miniature golf, Cedar Creek Golf Course, horseback riding, hiking, biking, bird-watching. Something for everyone. Many of our guests don't want to do anything but sit on the porch enjoying the sights and sounds of God's creation. Two-night minimum stay; three-nights on holiday weekends. $150 nightly.
