About Ruby Jordan

We have owned and operated vacation cabins since 1999. We are here to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

Ruby Jordan purchased this cabin in 2006

Why Ruby Jordan chose Oklahoma

We grew up in Broken Bow OK, as did our parents. Our children live here as well.

What makes this cabin unique

We have just one other cabin on the property. It is very secluded and surrounded by forest and wildlife -- but so easy to find. The other cabin, Porch Time (VRBO 789718) sleeps 7 and could be reserved if you have a larger group. Both cabins together will sleep a maximum of ten. More information can be found at our website

Excellent Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

We rented this cabin for Labor Day Weekend and the pictures do not do it justice . It was so relaxing to get away from it all and be so close to Beaver's Bend . The owner Ruby is so sweet and such a pleasure to rent from. She has everything at the cabin one could think of and I only have wonderful things to say about our stay . I would rent this place everyday if I could it is gorgeous and peaceful . The pictures don't do this place justice it is just breath taking inside . I felt like a home away from home . My kids loved being able to get out and see nature which is not as easy to do in the city . Thank you Ruby and Clayton for such a wonderful stay .

Great CountryCabin !!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed last week and had an awesome time. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well stocked. It was easy to maneuver our fishing boat to the cabin and only about 10 minuets to the marina. I'd definitely stay there again!

Lovely, Clean and Hidden, a true Gem!

  • 5 of 5

A gem! We so enjoyed our stay, the cabin had everything we needed and more, it is down a secluded road, hidden in the woods, we just loved it! There is wildlife and plenty of exploring area! A great couples getaway or family adventure; good dining options down the road, and Beavers Bend for lots of outdoors activities!

Owner's Response: When we first decided to get into the tourist cabin rental business, we made it our goal to provide a clean, safe and pleasant place for people to stay. We want them to go back to the daily lives feeling totally refreshed. Our own idea of a good time is to sit and relax and listen to the silence of the forest. There are plenty of ACTION things to do in the area, but when you return to the cabin, it's time to rest and enjoy nature.

Wonderful cabin, wonderful people

  • 5 of 5

When you have good people who really care about what they do it is easy to tell.... Thats what I got at this cabin. They made sure the place was clean and inviting. Checked to see if we needed anything. And the relaxing environment made a home away from home that was fantastic.

Owner's Response: We love to hear that we've attained our goal: provide a place for people to relax and feel right at home without all of the distractions. It's so good to sit on the covered porch in the early morning and hear nothing but the birds starting to wake up and sing. Or sit outside late at night and look at the millions of stars, the moon and hear all the night creatures singing their songs or howling, as the case may be. :)

Hochatown Hideout -

Once again, we had another wonderful stay with Ms. Ruby and Clifton. The Hochatown Hideout is perfect for our family! It's super clean, cozy, and comfortable. And, near all the adventures we love! The Jordan's have thought of everything - the cabin is well stocked! I can't imagine needing anything more. Thanks so much for letting us share our musically talented friends with you! See you soon!

Weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

My new friend and I decided to take a weekend away from the city and explore the Beavers Bend area and this cozy cabin in the woods was an absolute delight for our stay. This cabin was stocked with way more than the staple items of salt & peper. They leave pancake mix, syrup, and butter for the guests! There were many other items the kitchen was stocked with as well. They also leave full size shampoo, conditioner & blow dryer in the oversized bathroom. The hot tub was perfect for the evenings and offers an open view of the sky. The cabin even provides robes so you can be comfortable on your walk to and from the hot tub. This place is very private and beautiful. I will always have a fond memory of this cabin in the woods and plan to return one day to build on that memory. If you want to get away from your busy life for a comfortable relaxing time, Hochatown Hideout is the place to go.

Owner's Response: It's always good to know that we sent another guest away with many happy memories made at Hochatown Hideout. We've tried to make our cabin the place where folks want to return to because they know that it's well-stocked and all they have to bring are their personal items.

We're just minutes from the Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake, miniature golf, Cedar Creek Golf Course, horseback riding, hiking, biking, bird-watching. Something for everyone. Many of our guests don't want to do anything but sit on the porch enjoying the sights and sounds of God's creation. Two-night minimum stay; three-nights on holiday weekends. $150 nightly.
