Imagine the Ocean spray and the sounds of the waves hitting the shore as you enjoy a cup of coffee on the beach front patio and watch the sun come up over the ocean . The view is as gorgeous as it sounds.

This Condo is a two bedroom , one bathroom walk out onto the beach. Completely redone with a beautiful granite kitchen, stunning bath,new living room and bedrooms. This is as close as you can get to the beach and ocean on the Island.

Need a break from the Ocean. There is free wireless internet service and there is free cable TV. There is a TV in the living room and both bedrooms. Two heated swimming pools in the middle of the complex add to a relaxing

time.

One large bedroom with 2 queen beds and a small bedroom with a single bed.

My husband and I like the beautiful beach. First thing in the morning nothing beats watching the sun come up over the ocean when we're drinking coffe on the patio.

When we have the kids over we can walk in and out of the Condo from the beach for snacks, drinks, and breaks. We can even watch the kids fron the patio as they play on the beach.

Nice, but overpriced.

Recently stayed three nights here. The owner and her help were very quick to respond and helpful. The location is accurate as far as being literally on top of the beach. Unfortunately, that part of the beach is probably the most crowded on the island. Being that the condo is on the first floor, I was unable to leave the curtains open and have a view of the beach, due to the fact that there were literally hundreds of people on the beach right outside. That might not bother some, but people being able to look inside the room at us was not cool. The massive beach bar (club), Claytons, is only a couple hundred yards down the beach. Cool for some, but be prepared to listen to whatever music they are blaring all night long(yes you can hear it from inside). My biggest complaint was the price tag. I will NEVER book anything through vrbo again. VRBO made me take away the specific numbers concerning the price and fees, but basically be prepared for taxes and fees to be almost $300 more than what the cost would be when adding up the room charge that it shows automatically when you look at the room. Like I said, simply not worth the price. The main reason I wanted a condo was to avoid the big hotel/resort atmosphere. Failed. The Tiki is a resort, and you are treated as such. Had to check in and get wristbands that we were instructed to never take off the entire four days on property. Not kidding. Also given a parking pass, which turned out to be useless. We were not once able to park anywhere near our condo due to all the cars parked for the massive beach party going on. They have signs up for towing, but at one point only about half the cars parked in the condo residents spaces had a parking pass. Maybe the condo would be nice during the off season, when there aren't a thousand people outside your door, but even then, it's simply overpriced. This was no different than staying in a hotel, other than it being better decorated and having more supplies. Also, one of the extra charges was a cleaning fee. Ok, but if I'm paying money to have someone clean, why are there signs in the condo that say to take all your trash out to the dumpster area and clean all your dishes before you leave? I would have preferred to clean it up myself and save the extra money, but I shouldn't have to pay for a cleaning service, AND clean it up before I leave.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry your stay on the beach was not everything you wanted it to be. Most renters love the ability to walk right out on to the beach from the condo. Week ends are busy on the beach I have to agree. Peggy Pichelman

Convenient, well maintained property

This is my second stay at this owner's properties and it certainly met my expectations set by their other great property. This place is right on the beach, you can not get closer! Refilling drinks, grabbing a snack, more sunscreen, etc. was super convenient. Enhancing our stay, was a beach bar with live music, dancing and bar food located next door, most easily accessible by a short beach walk. I've stayed at other properties in South Padre and this one cannot be beat!

Loved our stay!

The listing said how close we would be to the ocean, but the beauty of the sunrise on the beach was a wonderful surprise. The condo was fully furnished, with three TVs, dishes, pots and pans, and linens to spare. We loved staying in this condo and would definitely love to stay there again.

Woo hoo!

Once again we had the best girls weekend in Padre! The condo is clean, updated, so close to the beach, and a very short beach walk to clayton's for dancing. The kitchen has a dishwasher and has all the dishes, utensils, a coffee maker, cutting board, and mixing bowls, and pots and pans.We went to the grocery and stocked up. Looking so forward to going back next year! Woo hoo!

Car: recommended

The biggest attraction of South Padre Island are of course its beaches. The beach stretches for miles and all along the beach people sunbathe, relax and watch dolphins and pelicans. The more ambitious have fun shore fishing and kite surfing.

Many people just stroll the beach and look for seashells to take home. No problem strolling the beach here just walk out the patio door and you are about 10 steps to the beach.
