Excellent...... looking forward to return!
Great place! Everything was as awesome advertised
Superb casita. Excellent value. Waterfront.
Highly recommend this casita. I was able to work remotely while lounging on the beachfront porch. Already planning my next Loreto visit and hoping this casita is available. Absolutely no complaints. Bill, the host, was extremely helpful with my questions and planning.
Casita verde 3 Calle Isla Coronado
It was the perfect place for us to enjoy the patio, the beach, and the military formation diving of the pelicans seeking out the fish. The unit was fully equipped, and very comfortable, and spotlessly clean thanks likely to Brenda who lived just a few houses away. The walk along the beach to the town of Loreto was about a mile. Thanks for pandering to my English born wife who requested a tea kettle, Bill, Shirley will mail the key to the Casita back to you..
Exactly as described and we loved it. Already planning our next trip down.
Clean and comfy. Had everything we needed. Owner was super helpful with info and ideas for our excursions, his recommendations and help were spot on, especially in connecting with boat Captains. Property manager touched base as soon as we were settle in and offered her assistance, answered our questions and then provided us all the space we wanted. Owner's responses were prompt and helpful from the very beginning which really made us feel comfortable going to a new place. You have to see the patio area. The view and beach access were perfect and the photos don't do it justice. So peaceful and protected, we had one day with some strong winds and the patio was very protective. The town was quaint and peaceful, we never felt uncomfortable and found everything we needed plus enjoyed some fantastic seafood at the restaurants.
Thanks for everything we hope to be back!!
A Great Vacation
We had a wonderful vacation in Loreto. The fishing was great and the casita was just perfect.
This was just what we wanted
Pretty much as advertised
I would add to the description that the casita is in the front of the property; that is to say the front door faces the street and to get to the patio with the advertised view, you walk around the house for about 60 feet back toward the beach
The satellite reception for the TV went off and on with no dependable viewing
I mention this to be thorough but it was not a problem for us as we try not to get sucked into watching TV while on vacation
The house is very clean
The drive to town is about 15 minutes as you need to go slowly through “Mexican” intersections
Not a problem if you are used to it. The other drivers are cooperative
You can take a pretty walk to the town center (which is very historic, clean and with very good restaurants) via the beach from the casita
It takes about 30 minuets and you go past the seashore promenade
Weather had highs of 75 with more clear days than not
Mornings were coolish
Be warned that the wind kicks up by 10 and dies down about 4
Evenings were coolish but not a problem as we circulated the town and checked out the many fine restaurants (everyone was great)
Don’t miss breakfast or brunch at Pan que Pan
Town is very clean and safe at anytime
Nothing special or authentic at the shops save world class photography by Richard Jackson ( has gallery in the square)
Very good birdwatching tours at a good price by BCS birding
Most of the local hikes (Tabor canyon is the best) are up slot canyons toward water features
Be prepared for more than a moderate hike as most require climbing over boulders
It’s best to travel in numbers
Also, consider the safety of leaving a car at a trailhead (but that’s a problem even back home )
One of the highlights was an incredibly beautiful ride through the majestic mountains to the Mission San Javier Not to be missed
I could have sat and viewed the mountains to the west of town all day
They are truly magnificent! And take it from a well traveled desert rat: the tree and plant variety is stellar (it is probably magical after rains)
If pressed, I would say a couple of kayaks would be nice
Maybe some beach towels?
In summary (in case you have managed to read this far🙄) this is a very good value and pretty much just as advertised
The landlord is very attentive and thorough
Just a few comments on our recent guests review.
There are always 4 large beach towels in the linen closet.
The drive to town should never take more than 5 minutes.
We've never had problems with TV reception before and it's just fine now and has been since we arrived on December 27th.
