5 star WONDERFUL! great location! So pleased!

Ms. Helen was very available and attentive checking in, during and checking out. The house and pool were amazing. The kitchen is well equipped with high end utensils to cook whatever you like plus a bbq grill outside. Very clean property also. The house had a den and living room for great space. Overall, myself and my party are still talking about how nice this rental vacation is. Not to mention the location is the best ever. STOP SEARCHING, THIS IS THE BEST PROPERTY FOR YOUR MONEY, ACTUALLY BETTER!

Most Definitely Enjoyed Our Stay

My family of four enjoyed our week-long stay over the Christmas/New Year's holiday here. The residence was well-maintained, charming and very comfortable. We felt very much at home and have lovely memories of our stay. Management was a pleasure to deal with; we received very professional and responsive service. Directions provided were detailed and helpful for exploring the neighborhood.

Highlights:

- The kitchen was equipped above our expectations (knives were sharp, a wide variety of heavy-duty pots, pans and baking sheets, there was a blender, electric kettle, coffee grinder, service for 12, platters and serving bowls, butter dish, cloth napkins with napkin rings, colanders/strainers, a salad spinner, corn picks! garlic press! potato masher! roasting thermometer! salt/pepper, herbs/spices, oils, condiments, Ziploc bags, etc.) with ample space to prep;

- Beds dressed to the nines (white sheets, coverlet, fluffy comforter, decorative pillows, comfy throw on every bed);

- Generous closet space with sturdy hangers for guests on an extended stay (the walk-in closet in the master bedroom is big enough for a covert military operation);

- The basket of goodies including fresh fruit, cookies, bottled water and popcorn which was so very welcoming after a long flight;

- Comprehensive array of toiletries: besides the obvious soap, shampoo, conditioner...we also provided with toothpaste, mouthwash, emery board, nail brush, dental floss! nail polish remover! cotton buds, makeup pads, disposable razor;

- Televisions in every bedroom (that's 4 total) and in the den;

- Fresh cut flowers throughout the home; and

- Privacy, with a tall hedge screening the front yard and fencing/citrus trees for the back yard.

The location is convenient to the retail shops and restaurants along Ventura and Tujunga, and highway access is a snap. I would definitely want a car for the stay and access to the garage makes parking hassle-free. There are some independent groceries and restaurants within walking distance, although we didn't get a chance to shop at those (too busy using the garlic press and corn picks...)

A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND A VACATION RENTAL TO BE AVOIDED

We felt lied to and cheated. Had we known the truth about this vacation rental, we would have passed and gone elsewhere. The place is poorly managed and has numerous code violations and extensive deferred maintenance. The owner harassed us with numerous work crews he scheduled to do jobs during our stay, destroying our peace and privacy. Every day, there were more things that were broken, and despite all the trinkets and junk everywhere, the mattresses were lumpy, old and terrible. Very noisy location. Horrible experience. One of the neighbors burns toxic chemicals, and forced us to evacuate the premises. Do not stay here.

I manage 20 properties and in 6 years have accommodated hundreds of happy guests and received dozens of 5 star reviews attesting to the care and attention we take to insure our guests have a good experience.... this is our first negative review. (We try hard to please our guests but sometimes no matter how hard you try, some people are just beyond pleasing). FYI: the mattresses are all new and good quality. Fantastic Stay!!

We were fortunate to be able to stay at this great home for a week this summer and loved everything about it. The location was very convenient to all the major tourist attractions and the house was very comfortable and well set up. The fresh fruit left for us on our arrival was a nice surprise and we loved our time in the pool. Bedroom layouts are very good for larger groups and having access to teh garage for parking was great. We absolutely loved our time there and will look to book again next time we are in LA.

Beautifull Home!

We rented both the main home and the guest house for a family gathering for an event nearby in Studio City. Both places were lovely! The homes are very well maintained, clean, updated, spacious, private and comfortable. There was plenty of room for us all to relax inside in addition to both a nice front and backyard for enjoying the sun. Both kitchens were well stocked with great appliances and all you would need to prepare any meal, including condiments and staples (although no spices!). All the bathrooms were big and clean with a most generous supply of toiletries and grooming products. I have rented many homes through VBRO over the years and have never been in a place with the kitchen and bathroom so well supplied. An extremely generous welcome basket was another real nice touch! The home is on a quiet street but just off a main road with easy access to major freeway. The owner was professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful home and would return myself if I was in the area.
