Pristine

If you are looking for a place to stay in New Orleans, you can stop now. Reed's home is meticously cared for and he is an exceptional host. We were lucky enough to stay in his home and will defintely look to return again. 3 couples fit comfortably and the accomdations were better than any hotel.

Thank you again Reed!

Dreamy Garden Home Tucked Away

  • 5 of 5

Exquisite home with well designed space and small lush garden area. Sparkling clean with every supply imaginable provided for your comfort. Perfect for a low key visit to the Big Easy. By far the best rental home that we have ever experienced.

Reed is definitely the Marie Kondo (or should I say Kondeaux) of New Orleans -- no clutter and his home sparks joy! Artwork and antiques reflect his excellent taste.

Home is full of natural light. Appliances all new and high quality. Kitchen fully stocked. Open kitchen/dining & living room was an inviting area for our guests to linger. Enjoyed the birds singing in the little garden. No stair steps made access easy for our elder guest.

Reed lives nearby and was attentive to all our needs. Secure property is tucked away off of a busy street, so the secure, gated parking was particularly helpful. Easy walk over to Magazine Street where we enjoyed a leisurely lunch at Appoline's. Strolled past a warehouse with Mardi Gras floats being constructed in the neighborhood.

Kudos to Reed for providing such a jewel of a rental property!

Thanksgiving family holiday in NOLA

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in a beautifully furnished and renovated home at 4811 Tchoupitoulas in the Garden District. The furnishings included everything you could wish for in a prolonged stay. We were there only 5 nights and ate out each day, but we could have bought food and never gone out. It was convenient to restaurants, Rouse's grocery store, and churches. It was a beautiful place and the weather was perfect.

Very clean. Very upscale. Well stocked. Great owner

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for my wife's birthday. The owner was great and the place was immaculate. If you're looking for a quiet place out of the quarter yet close enough to any place in the city, this place is perfect.

Very well appointed

  • 5 of 5

First off, I will say that I have rented half a dozen NOLA units and this unit by far had the best attention to detail as far as guest comfort. Many property owners cut corners on linens or put in super cheap mattresses, and that was not the case here. You will be very comfortable and you won't have to worry that someone in your group will get the worst bed or most sparsely appointed room. There were more travel toiletries provided than most hotels and plenty extra of anything we could have needed. TVs in all the rooms and all the wares a kitchen could ask for as well. The offstreet gated parking was a nice bonus.

A couple of points worth noting:

1)The home may be better suited for responsible adults or families with older children than ones with toddlers or drunken revelers as the furnishings and decorations can be on the delicate side.

2) The property owner does in-person check in and out. For new visitors this may be very helpful, but if you are a veteran traveler who is used to key codes or arriving/departing at odd hours it's a good thing to know ahead of time.

So much better than expected & I expected it to be great!

  • 5 of 5

Reed is the best host. The house was immaculate! My wife, another couple and I rented the house for 4 days and I could not have asked for more. Reed is a true professional and anticipated every possible need. He was super flexible and the nicest person. As I write this, i realize that some people may think that I am exaggerating but if you stay with Reed, you will not regret it. You will come back and post that what I said was true. As a New Orleans native, I expect superior hospitality. As a former employee of the Intercontinental Hotel, I enjoy luxury. Reed has mastered both concept and makes it look easy.
