Casa Gina - 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Very Private Pool, Sleeps 5
About Gina Lee
After spending the last several decades in Colorado amidst the beautiful mountains of the front range we found ourselves always longing for the ocean as well. A visit to Costa Rica in 2005 led us to experience the wonderful abundance of wildlife and warm people that so many have written about. Now that we are getting around to thinking about the perfect place for us to retire to the combination of Summer in the Rockies and Winter on a Costa Rican beach seems like a dream come true.
Gina Lee purchased this House in 2010
Why Gina Lee chose Valle Pura Vida
Although each new visit brought us to a different area of the country we found ourselves always returning to Manuel Antonio for the beautiful beaches and great selection of food. We selected our lot based on how private it was, yet so close to all of the special things to do in Manuel Antonio. Our builder designed and constructed the house to take advantage of our jungle view and all the wonderful nature that is visible from all of the rooms.
What makes this House unique
Our private pool in the midst of the jungle is the perfect place to spend your days relaxing with nature and observing the many visitors to the property. A small nature trail with marked fruit trees will offer a unique experience. The gourmet kitchen and two wet bars will keep you fed and watered.

Beautiful secluded location near Manuel Antonio
We had a wonderful time at Casa Gina. Beautiful, quiet location. Relaxing in the pool while listen to birds and howler monkeys- Wonderful!
This was an absolutely wonderful property and vacation. Carlos was extremely helpful and the house is wonderful. We cannot wait to book again next year.
Fantastic stay in nature
My wife and I loved it here. The pool is fantastic and puts your right next to nature! Toucans, macaws, monkeys, it never ends. We loved it and can’t wait to come back. Carlos, the property manager, is a great resource as well.
This place is gorgeous and located at the top of a hill surrounded by lush landscaping with a jungle solitude all around (even though there are neighbors nearby). We loved hanging out on the decks, eating at the tiki hut, playing our playlist over the house PA system while poolside, having coffee outside listening to the wildlife come alive all around us...what an experience this has been! Squirrel and white faced monkeys passed by, toucans in the front yard, humming birds all over the property, and macaws galore!!!! Oh, and Blue Morph butterflies making their early morning rounds to the ravine our back- incredible! Carlos, the manager, was very helpful. We had a rental car, and we wouldn’t have stayed here without one. The final access road up to the home can be very slick and difficult to get up on wet days (VERY steep incline). If you have a tour company pick you up at the house, be very specific about the location (how to describe the location is clearly specified in the house info book), and we preferred to get picked up for tours as parking availability can be a problem. The people of Costa Rica have been as delightful as their wildlife! Such great memories here!!! Pura Vida!!
So happy with this rental!
This rental is an absolute gem! It was by far our favorite property that we stayed at in our three weeks trip through Costa Rica. Carlos and his mother were absolute perfect hosts. Five stars! They helped us with dinner choices and advice here and there. So responsive. The home is beautiful. From the inside to the outside, it's just stunning. You feel like you are imerged in the jungle while in the back yard. In fact, we saw more animals in our backyard than we did at the actaul Manuel Antonio park. You will need a rental car for this prop but you will need one anywhere that you stay in this area. Thank you so much for a memorable stay!
The amazing Manual Antonio National Park is a seven minute ride by car from Casa Gina. The town of Quepos is a five minute drive from the house. There is a bus stop that is a ten minute walk from the house and can take you to town or the beach. You will most likely want to rent a car. Cabs are everywhere.
