Awesome cabin and property
This cabin is on a mountain top north of Deadwood with a gorgeous view of the Whitewood Creek Valley below. Everything you need is there. The hot tub is great. Saw more deer than I have ever seen in my life on the drives in and out. Charlie even has pans available if you want to go down into the valley and pan for gold in the creek. The pictures of it on the website are not 'posed' like some are. What you see is actually what you get. SOLITUDE to the max. We feel we were so lucky to find this vacation rental and hope to come back somewhat regularly. Highly recommended.
Beautiful and secluded
We recently stayed at Timber Ridge and it was clean and had everything we needed. The owners live right up the hill on the property and were both very friendly and accessible and checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything else or have any questions. I especially love that they are "dog people" like us and made us feel welcome, including our dog. They even have gates to put up around the deck to keep furbabies from running off if they happen to see a deer or squirrel, so we didn't have to worry or keep a constant eye on her yet she could still enjoy the deck too. The hot tub was great after a long day of driving and the master bedroom is amazing. It is huge, comfortable, and has a fireplace, tv, sitting area, and sliding glass doors that open onto the deck. The only thing I didn't love was the small bathroom and wish the cabin had an ensuite. But the bathroom was sufficient and the other features of the cabin made up for it, so not a big deal. The kitchen is stocked with the basics plus a few extras like a Kurig and dishwasher. It was nice that the cabin had a washer and dryer too, so we were able to wash up all out clothes before we left so we didn't have to haul our dirty clothes home. I love the loft although we didn't use it. It adds to the overall look of the cabin and is a nice space regardless. The cabin and setting are both beautiful and it was relaxing and perfect for us and our dog.
Had a great time
This cabin was perfect for our stay!
My husband and I just recently stayed at this cabin and it was wonderful! The owners were super friendly and had the cabin ready to go when we arrived. The views driving up to the cabin and at the cabin are awesome! Definitely recommend!
Peaceful home away from home!
Charlie showed us around on day one and my daughter and I fell in love with this place! The first night I went outside and thought my ears had quit working because it was so quiet. The stars were out and the air was cool and fresh. Most nights I slept with the door from the master bedroom to the outside open and woke after a great night's sleep. I would live here full time if I could.
