Description

French Quarter Condo Rental Photos and Description

Historic Condo in the heart of the French Quarter

Second floor condo with spacious gallery just one and half blocks from Jackson Square in the heart of the Vieux Carre. Just a half a block from Sylvain Restuarant, the infamous Napoleon House and a block from Lucullus Culinary Antique Store. For the fashionistas- the United Apparel Liquidators (UAL) location is right beneath.

Enter through an original antique door into the passageway leading to a beautiful New Orleans Courtyard and ascend up the original spiral stairs. A triptych of original French Doors and transom assemblies leads to the 200 square foot gallery with antique hand forged New Orleans ironwork and amazing views of St. Louis Cathedral, the oldest Church in the Lower Mississippi Valley. Elegantly reticulated original transom with antique glass over extant original pocket doors leading to the bedroom. Plaster walls and medallions, beautifully appointed contemporary kitchen with granite counter tops and new appliances. Bathroom with marble tile floors and a jacuzzi tub.

Incredible!

Beautiful vintage gallery in the French Quarter, in the heart of everything but still away from all the crowds. My wife and I had an incredible stay during the 4th of July weekend this year and the balcony was an amazing bonus! Thanks for everything!

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

If you go to New Orleans look no further. One cannot describe how beautiful this place is. Not only the view from the gallery but inside as well. I felt at home and is if I had been taken back in time. Perfect location in the heart of the French quarter and away from the noise of Bourbon. An easy walk to everywhere. Whether it's Frenchmen Street for music or the business district for an elegant dinner. We had the most fantastic trip and one the main reasons was our stay here. So come stay...sit on the gallery enjoy your coffee in the morning and watch the world go by. Sonya the owner is fantasic to work with and and met every expectation.I hope to be back every year!

This place is beautiful beyond words!!!

GORGEOUS AND CENTRALLY LOCATED! This place is in a wonderful location. Gorgeous view of Jackson Square. Museum quality 18th furniture. This apartment is just wonderful! Decorated with a magical feel of New Orleans Past....a little rustic, yet comfortable and a authentic, historic feel makes the property magical. To stay here made us feel as if we had gone back in time! We will be back to stay as much as we possibly can! Landlord is warm and gracious hostess!

Perfect Place to Stay in the HEART of the Quarter!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely beautiful Condo in the "Heart of the Quarter". Just a minute or so walk from any place you'd want to go. Modern meets "Old World" with updated kitchen and bathroom in this gorgeously appointed rustic dwelling. Private Courtyard, Spacious Gallery(Balcony), Perfectly Private Master's Quarter(bedroom), and Huge Great Room(Den & Dining area). Sonya and Henry have a Real Gem here for your next stay in the Big Easy.

In the heart of the Quarter, A Gem of a Condo

  • 5 of 5

The property is rugged and elegant at the same time -- centuries old with great antique fixtures and modern kitchen and bath amenities. Fantastic location for taking in the view of the pretty street below which stretches toward downtown in one direction and the cathedral in the other direction. This place is in the midst of a well-kept central part of the French Quarter where great food, drink, and shops abound, yet it's away from the hubbub of Bourbon Street. A couple of parades -- small and big alike -- graced the street below the property's balcony during my stay. Quite spectacular and so much fun!

Great get away and owner awseome to work with.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have never stayed in the French Quarter and we have been to NOLA many times. This is a great getaway we walked everywhere we wanted to go. The condo is very unique in the fact it was built in the 1700's. Sonya was great to work with. Parking garage across the street made it easy to get luggage to condo without a long haul. We would recommend this location to anyone who wants to really experience the French Quarter.
