Great location close to supermarkets and restaurants. Great for accessing fort myers and Sanibel isl

  • 5 of 5

Very well equipped villa has every type of kitchen utensil available. Lovely layout plenty of space inside and out. The deck area was great for watching the sun go up and down would recommend plenty of insect repellent especially if out at dusk or on the beaches especially Sanibel. Nice spot for fishing and villa had some equipment to use but Walmart up the road had extra bits we purchased as it had a big sports section.

Great to watch the fish jumping also some hawks and owls to watch. There is a large Iguana that strolls round which is quite a site he appeared pretty friendly though!

The villa is close to a main road but this just means you can access lots of amenities quickly. Cape Coral has some great restaurants we loved the Hooters which is very close (walking distance) the chicken wings and fried pickles were particularly tasty! We would also recommend Banana Bay Tour company who do boat tours and excursions out to see Dolphins and other wildlife they are located only about 15 mins from Finnegans Key.

Would definitely consider returning in the future. The fact the property managers are next door meant we felt very reassured if there were any problems, however there weren't any! Can't wait to return!

Awesome pool & well equipped house

  • 4 of 5

The open bar kitchen area to the pool was awesome. Well stocked kitchen for cooking, etc. Property managers were super and easy to get a hold of. House was bigger than we thought it’d be. Sanibel and Fort Meyers Beach were about 45 min drive if you leave by 8:30 am. Highly recommend Bert’s Bar for the fish & chowder. Sunset at The Boathouse is a must. The only thing we didn’t love were the mattresses.

Fun, Relaxing, Functional and Central

  • 5 of 5

We planned to spend 7 days and ended up staying for 9 (luckily there was an opening)! Nice kitchen, fully stocked with all the amenities needed to cook any meal (saved $$). Great bathrooms - nice quality showers with good water pressure and plenty of towels. Very helpful laundry room. Plenty of space for two couples to have their own space or to gather for socializing and playing cards, etc. Temperature outside was only in 50's but being from CT we jumped in the pool anyway (it's heated!). Happy with everything. A little updating of linens on beds would be nice. Chris and Gail, the caretakers, were super accommodating. Mike the owner was easy to work with. Great overall experience all the way around!

Very nice home

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time. This was our first stay at Mike's home and it was very much like the online pictures. We have stayed in the Cape numerous times, and this home is nicely located. The master bath was a little smaller than we are used to, but it was nicely done. We had six adults, two little dogs and one child and there was plenty of room. Sadly the pool was a little too cool to use, but we didn't fiddle with the heater, so that's probably our fault. The only advice we have is to be sure to bring or buy condiments, etc. as this home did not have any food type items left to use.

Owner's Response: thank you for the comments, yes as far as the pool is concerned you should of asked Gail or Chris to adjust the pool heater, and as for house hold condiments, you probably came after we do a big sweep of the cupboards, as we never know the expiry dates of all the collection we tend to gather of the rental year

Clean, spacious and relaxing!! Convenient Area!

  • 5 of 5

This house is great!! Very spacious and very clean. Gail does a wonderful job cleaning and preparing for your arrival. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen we have had in any vacation rental. Everything you need is there. We really enjoyed the pool and lanai area. A few times dolphins showed up in the canal and almost daily we would see the iguanas climb the coconut palm and nestle in for the night. Conveniently located to Cape Coral yacht club and beach area, parks galore, Ft. Myers, Sanibel Island and Pine Island. We had a great 2 months. Thank you Mike, Gail and Chris for everything!
