Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We had a great time staying at this home for two weeks visiting with our kids and the new grand baby. There was a few issues but most of them were taken care. There are only a few things that would have made it a better stay. The home needs internet service and the closet were full so you could not put your clothes away and there are no dressers in any of the rooms.
We had a fantastic stay. We were able to relax and visit in the evenings. The weather was high 40 to low 50 with the sun shining. We could not have asked for better weather. Thank you for sharing you home.
Great day on the Oregon Coast. perfect view of the beach even when it is super rainy. But the sunny days you can see a long way!
After reading the reviews we decided to still give Bayshore Beach Views a shot, (it was Labor Day weekend after all and the choices were getting slim). No. 1 - Although it's only a block off the beach and has a great view of the OCEAN, (not the beach), it is a 3-4 block walk to the beach because you have to use the paths designated as "Beach Access". No. 2 - It does need some TLC. Carpet needs cleaned/replaced, the decor is scarce and random, and it could use an overall cleaning and the outside needs painted. No. 3 - Although many of the windows did not have screens the ones we used did and the house cooled off nicely thanks to the wonderful ocean breeze. I have no idea why they don't put screens on all the windows after so many reviews mentioning it, but as far as the A/C goes it wasn't an issue. No. 4 - The kitchen was not stocked very well. There wasn't any aluminum foil, plastic wrap, zip lock bags, etc. that we've always found at least some of in every rental we've ever stayed in. This place does not have any baking dishes and the knives are extremely dull. I don't know if anything will change due to this review, (it hasn't from any of the other reviews so far), but keep this in mind and bring your own if is a concern. No. 5 - Some of the beds are uncomfortable. Although our bed wasn't the best, we were so tuckered out and the end of the night we slept fine. Our grand daughters slept in the room with two beds and we have no comment because...well, they're kids and could probably sleep on piece of plywood at the end of the day. But, the bed in the third bedroom where our daughter and son-in-law slept in was in their own words, "pure hell". They were stiff and tired every morning.
The pros: It does have a good view of the ocean and a deck that is wonderful for sitting, sipping a glass of wine, and enjoying the ocean. With a bathroom for every bedroom the place is very comfortable. It has a garage, which is so nice for storing coolers, beach shoes, toys, crab rings, etc. Although you have to walk a few blocks to get to the beach it's still easy to get to, the beach is great, and goes on forever.
We would stay here again but never at the rate we had to pay due to it being a holiday weekend. Because of the cons it wasn't worth that kind of money. I would sincerely hope that the owner/property manager take notice of the comments and reviews at some point, as this place has a lot of potential.
Vacasa: Except for one little fluke ordeal, Vacasa was great to deal with. We appreciated the way they could make recommendations and post them on their website for our personal review. We received an email notification that we could check in at 10:00 a.m. instead of the normal 4:00 the day we were scheduled to arrive; all of the adult members in our group received emails with the driving directions and information on the house; and we also were offered a late check out, (as late as midnight), if we wanted to pay a small fee. These extra touches were very nice and appreciated.
