About rob leyden
We are two hard working entrepreneurs with two very young children. We bought this property as an investment for our future and to be able to get away from the city life and retreat to a much more relaxing environment. Lake Arrowhead brings us to a place where we leave the stress behind and focus on family and the outdoors.
rob leyden purchased this House in 2010
Why rob leyden chose Waleska
We fell in love with Lake Arrowhead for many reasons but mostly due to it offering lake living, mountains, close proximity to a major city, all while being nestled in a private, gated, quiet, golf community. We live in Roswell, GA so finding this gem, less than 1 hour from home, was the perfect investment for us. We welcome you to stay at our home and fall in love with this hidden treasure in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains - just as we have!
What makes this House unique
If you love being outdoors, Lake Arrowhead is the place for you (golf, swimming, boating, tennis, hiking, fishing, etc). Imagine a day waking up to a beautiful sunrise overlooking a tranquil lake, with deer visiting in your back yard. Enjoy breakfast outside on the deck with a beautiful view. Take a ride on a pontoon boat for a few hours or simply kayak or paddle boat along to the next cove. Travel an hour away and take in an Atlanta Braves game. Then visit some of the finest restaurants in the United States in Buckhead.....what a perfect day!

Really fun place for lots of ages
We enjoyed hiking on the community’s trails, fishing, boating, visiting the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, watching the deer come onto the property in the morning and evening and playing arcade games in the basement. We wish it would have been a little warmer because the fish weren’t biting, but we still really enjoyed the week.
Great lakefront home
Stayed here w 3 coworkers as it was a far better option than 36 hotel room night over in Cartersville.
Home was inviting and comfortable throughout. Nice large kitchen w ample seating in dining room that overlooks the lake. Just as advertised. Game room downstairs was a big plus with the rain we had. Would rent again in a heartbeat!
Great house in a beautiful setting. Our family enjoyed our time there.
We were busy with the foosball table, video games and hot tub. It was a wonderful place for our family to gather.
million dollar view
The Lake is Beautiful this time of year, had a great time with all the toys with family
Beautiful! Stunning! Relaxing!
Wonderful just doesn’t do this property justice. Let me put it in perspective: some of our previous fall breaks have been places like Washington DC, Asheville NC; the Biltmore combined with a few days at the Wilderness Lodge Water Park; and St Augustine FL, The Gold Coast and points along the way. That said this was a totally different venue for us and I tell you all this so that you will know just how incredibly awesome the place is. We had 4 teens 3 of whom were siblings-twins age 16 and 2 age 14. Not ONE time did we hear anyone, teen or adult utter the word “bored” and we never left the property! (Well that’s not true-our son did go get worms for fishing and then had to go get milk). The hydrobike was the biggest hit but all the lake toys were well used thanks to the unseasonably warm weather. And the arcade games proved to be the adults evening entertainment as much as the kids. And foosball is like being at home for us. We love to cook and had brought all our food and were able to prepare everything thanks to the kitchen appliances and grill. And the margarita machine was huge fun for all of us (non-alcohol of course). I see one of those in our future! I would suggest an instruction book because we almost had to phone a friend. Thank you again Rob and Jenn for a wonderful vacation.
We love coming to this lake house. This the 4th year we have come to hang out and enjoy family. Rob is a tremendous, responsive owner.
Never any issues. We look forward to next year!
The focal point of Lake Arrowhead community is certainly our beautiful lake, which is fed by blue, pure mountain stream water. Our lake is one of the largest privately owned man-made lakes in Georgia and ranked the cleanest lake in the state. Lake Arrowhead's clear waters boast depths of over 80 feet. Whether boating or fishing, you'll be sure to fall in love with the beauty of our lake.
The new, award winning, championship Highlands Course opened in the fall of 2008. It is now considered one of the best new golf courses in Georgia. The Highlands Course measures over 7100 yards and features full-service practice facilities including a golf range, chipping and putting greens. Five of the Highland's 18 holes are along the lakefront while the remainder of the holes wanders into the North Georgia Foothills. Golf fees are $48 on weekdays and $55 on weekends (includes cart). Senior rates are also available.
