We are conveniently located in the village of Polo Ridge, close to the Southern Trace shopping areas on 466, with a short 5 minute golf cart ride to Publix, Wal-Mart and CVS. Lake Sumter Landing and Spanish Spring Town Squares are about 15 minutes away by golf cart. The town squares feature free nightly entertainment, modern movie theaters, and a colorful assortment of shopping and dining opportunities. The Saddlebrook Village and Laurel Manor Regional Recreation Centers are nearby. They have swimming pools, fitness areas, and tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, and bocce courts. There are seven (7) executive golf courses and two (2) country club courses (Glenview and Palmer Legends) within a 10 minute golf cart ride away.

Our 2,086 square foot oversized, open floor plan Lantana designer home is block and stucco construction, with vaulted ceilings and has a two car garage. There are no homes behind to block the view.

Our home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom suite features a king size bed, an over-sized leather chair and ottoman, a paddle fan, a 43” LED TV with Comcast Cable, a CD/Stereo system and an electric fireplace! The master bath has a sky light, a large walk-in closet, his and her sinks, a separate toilet area, a bathtub and a large walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom has a king size bed and a comfortable queen size sleeper sofa. There is a large closet, a paddle fan and a 32” LED TV with Comcast Cable. The 3rd bedroom has a two tier twin bunk bed with a pull out trundle for a total of three beds. This bedroom also has access to the master bath through a pocket door. There is a closet, paddle fan, and an office area, complete with a desk, office chair, a computer system with high speed internet and a color printer. High speed wireless internet is available throughout the house. Linens and towels are included.

The formal dining area seats 6 – 10, and there is a large breakfast nook with a table and chairs for casual meals. There are additional chairs and bar stools stored in closets for additional seating. The large family room has two leather sofas, a coffee table, and a 50” LED TV with High Definition Comcast Cable service contained in a beautiful entertainment center. Off of the family room is a fully screened residential lanai and a mansard lanai, both with views of the Polo Club. New patio furniture, a paddle fan and a new gas grill are located in the lanai area.

Our fully outfitted kitchen, with raised oak cabinets, beveled counter tops, pantry, an electric range, an over the range microwave oven, dishwasher and a large refrigerator allow preparation of any size meals. Also include are a coffee maker, toaster oven and all necessary dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils. Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry room with a full size washer and gas dryer. The oversize two car garage has a workbench, storage space, and a water conditioning system.

A gas golf cart is included!

We loved this home from the minute we walked in! It is light, airy, and open. The property is very conveniently located to major shopping areas and the Spanish Spring and Sumter Landing Village Centers. The two lanais are very comfortable and relaxing and the backyard view isn't boring.

What makes this house unique

The benefit of this home is it size, layout and especially its' central location and accessibility to all that The Villages has to offer. This home is perfect for having children and grandchildren visit.

In order to use the full amenities at the Villages, you must obtain a Temporary Resident ID. A temporary resident has full resident member access to the amenities with resident rates. To do so, go to the Lake Sumter Landing Sales and Information Center which is located at 1000 Lake Sumter Landing, The Villages, FL 32162. The Lake Sumter Landing Sales and Information Center is open Monday through Saturday from 8am-7pm and Sunday from 9am-5pm. The Temporary Resident ID is $50.00,(NOT included in the Rental Rate) but gives you access to the Golf Courses, Community Centers and other amenities. We will submit the names on the Rental Agreement prior to your arrival so all you have to do is pick up the Temporary Resident ID. One (1) small pet is permitted only with prior approval of the Landlord. An additional $50.00 cleaning fee will be charged for the first week, and then an additional $25.00 for each week thereafter.

Great location, comfortable, and all the necessities provided

We are thinking of retiring in the Villages so we wanted to rent a home and live like Villagers. This home is close to 2 recreation centers, came with a gas golf cart, and was wonderfully close to shopping. Due to weather we didn’t use the golf cart much but it was nice to have.

The owners addressed a concern we had when we first arrived and were attentive during our stay.

Thank you for letting us rent your beautiful home. Everything was perfect. Golf cart broke down and André had it replaced within 40min. Prime location and great home

This was the third time that we have stayed here and as always it was perfect. Great space and located between Spanish Springs and Sumpter. Had a minor glitch with the golf cart and the owners handled that without a problem. Will stay there again.

Beautiful well furnished home; met all expectations

Very spacious; very comfortable; appreciated how well furnished it is. Not able to use the gas grill - it is very rusted and I would not trust it with propane and flames.

Owner's Response: Thanks for letting us know about the gas grill. We have replaced it with a brand new Weber grill, that should survive the Florida weather better.

Great home in a good location!

We stayed for 2 weeks in this very nice, clean home! Very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. 4 seat golf cart was perfect for getting around. Beautiful lanai with nice patio furniture. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a awesome time in the villages!! House was perfect - right across from the polo club - great for horse lovers like us! Really nice to have the golf cart it was so much fun! Would love to stay again.

The Villages is the premier adult community in central Florida. We like to think of it as Disney World for adults! The Villages definitely lives up to its nickname as 'Florida's Friendliest Hometown'! We love the awesome, free nightly music and dancing at all 3 of the Town Squares, 365 days/year. The Villages is a very active community with over a 1000 activities/month. The Villages is a golfers paradise, consisting of currently of 30 (and growing yearly) FREE executive nine hole courses, and 10 championship golf courses. There are fitness centers and pools for every village. No car? No problem! Just take the Villages shuttle from Orlando airport. Everywhere in the Villages is golf cart accessible! From the grocery store, to restaurants & shopping, to medical offices and the hospital, to church, all can be done via golf cart. Riding throughout the beautifully maintained grounds is so enjoyable. For the kids, Disney World and Universal Studios are about an hour away.

25% of total rent (non-refundable) is due within 7 days of booking. $130.00 cleaning fee [$150.00 if with a pet or larger groups]. $800 security deposit, cleaning fee & remaining rental amount is due within 45 days of occupancy. Security deposit is refundable within 10 days of the checkout after a walk thru and inventory check.

One (1) small pet is permitted only with prior approval of the Landlord. An additional $50.00 cleaning fee will be charged for the first week, and then an additional $25.00 for each week thereafter.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
