It is our first time in Nice and the location of this flat is perfect. Right on the beach and down town. We have visited Nice by foot and could take a train to visit Monaco as well.

The flat is very nice, contemporan style shared with old architecture. Very clean and his manager stayed in contact with us during our stay.

I cannot say enough about this flat. My husband and I traveled from the US with our 3 and 5 year old and we absolutely loved this apartment and the location. We stay in a lot of rental properties and this one was so clean. It was quite refreshing to see that while rather sparse, it was immaculately kept.

We were shocked by the size. I found it very large. The apartment is long and narrow spanning a half a city block. The elevators, the neighbors, the furnishings, everything was perfect.

The location was so fabulous. Right across the street of course it the beach, public and private side by side. Within one or two blocks there were so many restaurants from fancy sit down restaurants with non-stop service to brasseries to more street food style grab and go. We would often walk the 15 minutes to the old city where a lot of the more touristy stuff departs from but we really appreciated being in a slightly more residential, but still very happening area.

The only negative was that the terrace slants down slightly and that kind of freaked me out with the little kids, although it didn't end up being a big deal.

The biggest selling point for this property is the property manager. Segolene was so amazing to work with. She was professional, helpful, and totally reliable. We had a small personal problem while on vacation and she jumped through hoops to make sure we were taken care of.

The 3 bedroom apartment is very large and clean. The location, balcony and view is why I booked this property on homeaway and it did not disappoint. Wifi was provided a major plus when travelling. Not too far from Old Nice, walkable. Very close to restaurants, shopping and activities. The rental bikes were far more complicated than tourists need to endure for a short activity to participate in. Two elevators are in this building which is a huge plus. One is historical looking. We had a dishwasher, stove top and oven, fridge. Juice and San pelligrino was supplied which was lovely to find. A few main staples for cooking but we didn't cook it was a short stay for us. The promenade is great. The beach was wonderful. The master bedroom could use a place for hanging your bath towels on the back of the door. Sufficient towels provided but the toilet paper was not adequate. I would recommend this apartment to families without hesitation. One shower could pose a problem for 3 couples. I would stay here again the agent who gave us the key was very kind.

Wonderful view - high standard

The apartment was as advertised. Very modern decor with a stunning view of the Med. Everything in good condition and the kitchen was well stocked for our needs. Our daughter was arriving early evening with the rest of the party arriving late at night. Segolene was very helpful and communicative throughout the process.

The third bedroom is quite tight for 2 people, and as it is an interior room it has no external window (see photo). The other bedrooms could benefit from mirrors. The only mirrors were in the bathroom or the 3rd bedroom. This was quite limiting when 5 people were getting ready to go out.

The building is very secure and well located for both the old town and local shops and restaurants. It has two lifts though both are on the small size given the historic nature of the building.

We would certainly return in the future.

View sells itself

Overall the property is great and the view is exactly as advertised. My wife and I had breakfast on the terrace every morning. There were some cleaning and maintenance issues early on (detailed at the end of the review) but they were quickly addressed by Segolene and the management company who were quite responsive and helpful. Segolene helped us find parking (just like other reviewers have written) and that was very helpful.

The beds were comfortable and there are large windows/doors on opposite ends of the apartment so a nice cross breeze can be generated. It wasn't necessary while we were there but during the summer that's going to be critical. The kitchen is well stocked with silverware, flatware, glassware and cooking utensils though if you're going to be doing some cooking make sure to buy some oil or butter because the non-stick pans are nearing the end of their life. Either way the dishwasher will take care of most everything in that department.

In short, you're going to enjoy this apartment.

Now, as for the maintenance issues, We discovered on our first morning that the shower drain was completely clogged and that refrigerator's compressor had died. We sent an SMS to Segolene and the clog was fixed the same day but the fridge had to be replaced (brand new Electrolux is in the apartment now) which happened two days later. In the interim, Segolene brought over ice bags and so the freezer became the refrigerator for a couple of days. When this all got cleared up we emailed the management company and arranged a reduction in the rent for the trouble. The company didn't argue the point which was as pleasant as it was unexpected.

Excellent - can only recommend

We had a great family holiday staying in the apartment for 3 weeks – 3 adults and 2 children (5 and 7 year old).

Location of the flat is great – choice of public and private beaches, plenty of restaurants around, several patisseries and supermarket within 5 min walking distance. Building itself is well looked after and there are no restaurants/cafes on the ground level – hence it is quite.

The flat is in a very good condition. Personally we liked that it is modern and simplistic, not cluttered. Terrace is fabulous and rather big. We kept saying 'pinch me' as we spent many evenings sipping rose and watching the Promenade. 3 double bedrooms which are positioned far from the terrace, so you cannot hear any noise coming from the Promenade. Kitchen has everything you may need and more. Internet is very good and fast, though I don’t think it works in the bedrooms because they are quite away from the sitting/living room (this never bothered us though). The flat has no aircon – however during 21 days that we were there we only missed it on 2 nights, otherwise you always have a very pleasant breeze.

But perhaps the best thing about the flat is the agent – Segolene. She is absolutely great and ready to advise and help you out. We needed to find a garage for the car – she managed to find one in the building itself and negotiated a good deal for us, one of our girls needed a doctor and segolene arranged for one to come to the flat within an hour! She has also given us lots of tips on things to do and places to visit and restaurants to eat in.

We would love to come again and would definitely stay in the same flat.
