Lake Travis Lakehouse with Boat Slip and pool on Deep Water Cove

Bedrooms 3
Property type townhome
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

Twin Townhome Lakehouse-3 bedrooms- 2 Baths - Sleeps 6.

This is one of two "sister" town home style houses located a on private, eclectic waterfront street on the southwest shore of Lake Travis. The two units are ACROSS THE STREET from the waterfront and share a circle drive and can be rented simultaneously (they each sleep 6) to extend the fun for you and your friends and family. The Red House (or unit A) has an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen and updated stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. There is seating for 6 at the dining table and two additional bar stool seats across the kitchen counter for extra guests. The living room has a very large and super comfy sectional sofa if you have an extra guest beyond 6 that doesn't mind a couch bed :) The master suite is located at the end of hall with a king bed and attached bath with standing shower, vanity area and walk in closet. There are two additional guest rooms with queen beds and standard closets next to the guest bath that has a full bath. Out on the deck, you will find spectacular hill country views and you can enjoy your morning coffee in beautiful scenery or end of the day cocktail and chill and grill the night away with family and friends.

Drive your 'Dock Cart' to the pool, fire pit, and lake access by dock to Lake Travis all on a beautiful, rolling communal (shared by only 5 properties) water front property across the street. There is a shady tree to park your cart under, then stroll on down to the quaint little pool and sunbathe or jump right in to about 70 ft of nice cool deep cove water right off our 3 slip renters dock. You can bring your own watercraft (inquire w property manager or LCRA website for launch site info) OR we'd love to hook you up with our favorite local marina to rent-they'll even pick you up AND drive you around at your request! You can rent tubes, skis, wakeboards etc and spend the day riding the waves. If you are in to kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, there are also rentals for this as well. At the end of the day enjoy some s'mores and stars by the large firepit located just before the docks. Lakeway, waterfront restaurants, live music, breweries, wineries, and world class golf nearby. 15 minutes to the new Hill Country Galleria, 30-40 minutes to Austin, 25 minutes to Marble Falls.

Fireplace and views of Hill Country and Lake Travis make it perfect all year long. DirectTV cable and wireless Internet as well as a Roku TV you can use with your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon or many other streaming accounts.

Please no large or loud parties-there are tons of places to do that on the lake, but not here ;)

Minimum booking age of 26

About Lacy Nash

We enjoy this eclectic street on the lake every day of the year. My husband built these houses because of his love for this area. He wanted others to be able to enjoy great times with family and friends just as we have. We want every guest that stays in our houses to have a wonderful time. Whether you are looking for a weekend getaway or a month long retreat, we have three houses and surely one of them will give you the peace that you are looking for.

Lacy Nash purchased this townhome in 2009

Why Lacy Nash chose Lake Travis

This property once held an old one room tiny house with no plumbing. My husband wanted to improve the property and give guests a place to enjoy the lake he built two homes that give you a feel of being out in the country and yet the comfort of being close to restaurants, shopping, or the lake. The decks of these houses have plenty of room to sit and drink coffee in the morning or cook dinner on the grill in the evening.

What makes this townhome unique

This house and the house next door have the benefit of a great view as well as having direct access to the water, boat slip, pool and firepit all by the water. The dock cart is just a perk. These dock carts are often seen viewing the areas on the street.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Very beautiful place and a great location. Not far from the lake just over all a very beautiful home

One of the best rent house I have by far stayed at. Lacy was wonderful would always keep checking on us to make sure everything was ok. Stored with most of everything you to to cook from pots and pans to a grill outside. We didn't see a crockpot there so I called lacy and ask if she had one there she said no but I will bring one to you. Lacy is really an amazing and caring person. House was absolutely beautiful and a amazing place to stay. My wife and I are going to make this a year thing to go up to Austin and we don't plan on renting from nobody else but lacy. I highly recommend to stay by far from anywhere else.

Wonderful updated property with beautiful views of Lake Travis

  • 5 of 5

We went for a weekend to this property to celebrate my daughter's birthday. When we checked in the property was neat and clean and modern. Balloons and flowers had been left for my daughter who was celebrating her birthday. This added a really nice personal touch. We cooked in a couple of meals and played games at the large dining table. We made smores in the fire pit and enjoyed the pool one afternoon. The family room area is spacious and comfortable and all 5 of us enjoyed watching football and relaxing. We enjoyed taking the gold cart to the pool and back and to areas close to the house.

We have been to Lakeway resort two previous times and when you are limited to a hotel room it is much more expensive and there is no room to spread out. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway, relaxation, great views and close proximity to Lake Travis. We had 5 adults and had plenty of room. The master bed and bathroom were lovely. We will definitely be back!

Owner's Response: We truly appreciate the time you took to write such a nice review. I am always happy to provide personal touches to make my guests feel special :) I am so glad your daughter's birthday was well spent at the lake house. The living/dining area's open concept does make it a great place to gather and enjoy time together. So happy you got out the games and had fun with that along with tv time! The fire pit and pool are great amenities as well..the lake front/pool area across the street gives so much enjoyment still this time of the year. Can't wait to have you back with us sometime! Take care!

We really enjoyed our stay, we booked the two town homes next to each other plus a small one bedroom cabin that was down the road within walking distance. There was a large group of us and we all fit comfortably. The homes were really nice and clean, they provide everything you would need in a home, even detergent for washing clothes. The scenery is beautiful although could be nicer if some of the tree limbs would be cut down as they obstruct some of the view. The lake and pool were right around the corner and the golf carts were so convenient to get us there and carry our belongings.

Overall this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend to others.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the kind words and for the suggestion regarding the tree limbs. During this time of year, the trees are full and it can be hard to see the full view of the lake. I will definitely see what I can do to accomplish that as soon as possible! We are happy to provide all of the little things to make it seem like you are truly at home when you are here. Who wants to go home and unpack dirty laundry anyway?! :) We hope to have you back to stay sometime-we'd appreciate the opportunity to host you again! Take care!

Absolutely beautiful inside and out!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at the lake this week. The house was better than we could have asked for. Not your ordinary lake house. Decorated beautifully inside with all the comforts of home. The dock cart made it super easy to access the lake and pool. And Lacy was awesome to work with! Answered ever question we had from the beginning of the rental process to the day we left. Will definitely be back!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for being our guest :) The cart is the best, isn't it?! While we aren't true waterfront being across the street from it, the cart makes it so convenient to get stuff and people down to enjoy the pool, lake, fire pit, and dock area. It was also truly my pleasure to work with you! You made it easy! I love this area, having been blessed to be raised and lived out here for 20+ years! Sharing it with our guests gives me so much happiness-some need a little, some more, and it's my mission to make each guest feel important and attended to on the level they desire. Can't wait to see y'all again sometime! Take care!

Great time spent and great value!

  • 5 of 5

The sister homes were everything the pictures showed. We came in with a lot more people and dogs than expected which served no issues. We were also able to rent both properties for the weekend for our large group. The pool was a bit smaller than expected but that gave us no issues. The homes were both well taken care of and has plenty of space to fit more than listed. The deck was large and the view of the lake and hills were beautiful. The manager Lacy is as sweet as they come. She is willing to work with you and show you around the property. We also rented a boat at the Lakeway Marina located a close 10 mins away from the home. Would stay and rent here again!

Owner's Response: Thank you for being our guest! I am glad we ended up being able to accommodate your group, pets and all. We are happy to be one of very few places that will allow pets-and it is because we are also animal lovers and understand how great it can be to bring them along. I enjoyed meeting you all and would hope to see you again next summer or any other time you are in need of a lake get away!

House is Great, Management is Iffy

  • 1 of 5

Let me begin by saying that my husband and I stayed last year at the small bungalow right above the pool/lake. Our experience in 2015 was AMAZING! It was so great that we recommended it to 6 other friends for a weekend stay. Property management was great and easy to get along with. That is, when conditions were normal. Now, late May and early June 2016 brought LOTS of rain and flooding to the area. Since we live only and hour or so from the area and on Lake Belton, we knew that bringing the boat was probably not possible BUT thought it would be ok since the pool was available. On Thursday, June 9th, management told us that the pool was still usable for guests. On Friday, June 10th, on our way to the property, we received a phone call that the pool had gone under water and was now not available for our use during the stay. When we got there the manager drove us down to see the mess. There were 2 lines of debris where the water had receded. Obviously the flood had taken over the pool DAYS before Thursday when we were told the pool was still "good to go". The neighbors confirmed this by telling us the pool had gone under water a couple of days ago. We were offered $100 for our group of 8 to go to dinner or buy passes to a park in the area...we respectfully declined the $100 because it was not going to make up for the $1000+ we were spending on a weekend STUCK in a house. We couldn't go down and swim in the lake because the water was stagnant and no telling what was beneath the surface. Management then agreed to pay $500 via email to cover a boat rental for a day pending the house condition when we left. We left the house spotless. Started a load of towels, stripped beds, swept, cleaned all dishes, and wiped down everything. It was practically how we found it Friday. My husband personally plugged the golf cart into the charger and locked the top balcony door BUT those 2 things that management "found" wrong cost $250 of the promised $500. She could find nothing wrong with the inside because there was no proof but she sure did claim we left the battery dead on the golf cart and a door unlocked. Even if that was true, I am not sure how that cost $250 when we left the house in immaculate shape. In closing, I think management means well but is not trustworthy in a crisis situation. She yelled & cussed our husbands on the phone before hanging up. Totally different experience from 1 year ago. I am sad because the properties are great but we'll look elsewhere.

Owner's Response: Flooding creates lots of issues on the waterfront-sometimes very quickly ruining once beautiful areas. It also can quickly sour a vacation as is obvious in this circumstance. I would invite anyone reading the reviews here to read ALL of them as they would more accurately reflect the level of customer service and care given to our guests. It is understandable to be upset when vacations go unexpectedly awry, but using this level of personal attack and untruth as a means to an end is unfortunate. The best news is that the waters have long receded and the pool, docks, and waterfront look great again!
