Imagine your vacation home being just steps in either direction from all of the shops, restaurants, and sites of Duval Street and the Historic Seaport. Take a stroll or ride your bike down to the best of Key West, three blocks down Olivia St to hit local favorites like Croissants de France, Martins, and Nine-One-Five. Just a few blocks down Windsor Lane and you’ll be at BO’s Fish Wagon or Schooner Wharf.
THE LIVING AREA & KITCHEN...
This lively island home welcomes you with bright, tropical colors, tall ceilings, and luxurious modern furnishings. Floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to pour into the first floor all day. The living area boasts a gigantic 60-inch flat screen Smart HDTV, which you can watch from the comfort of the plush living room furniture or the kitchen/dining areas thanks to the open living plan of the first floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with state of the art appliances and all of the tools and utensils you will need to prepare a meal at home when taking a break from the decadent restaurant options of Key West. There is also a wet bar complete with the full bar set up for happy hour your way. The dining area has seating for 6, with 3 additional seats at the kitchen bar.
THE PRIVATE POOL …
Through the sliding glass doors of the living area is one of the highlights of this home: the private pool area. Fully fenced for privacy and surrounded by lush tropical greenery, this will undoubtedly be a primary gathering place for your group. The comfortable chaise lounges can be pulled into the sun or the shade, and they sit right beside the heat-optional pool that is great for a dip on a hot day. A full outdoor dining set can comfortably sit 6. The backyard is complete with a large propane grill for an outdoor barbeque by the pool.
This home has a variety of options in terms of accommodations. There is a bedroom suite on the first floor with a Queen-sized bed and flat screen TV. This room has an en-suite bathroom with a glass and marble shower. The other two bedrooms are on the second floor. The master bedroom has a King-sized bed, a large flat-screen TV, plenty of dresser space, and a private balcony overlooking the pool. The master bathroom is en-suite with dual sinks, granite countertops, and a glass and marble shower. The third bedroom has two twin beds that can convert to a King upon request, a flat-screen TV, and a private balcony. The third bathroom is also en-suite and has a tub/shower. Additional sleeping area is available in the living room, as the sofa pulls out into a Queen bed. There is also a half bath off the living room.
Washer & Dryer, Central Heat and A/C, Ceiling Fans, Off-Street Parking, Flat Screen State-of-the Art HD TVs in all bedrooms and main living area, Fully Equipped Chef’s Kitchen with Gourmet Appliances, Full Wet Bar, Private Pool with available Pool Heat, Large BBQ Grill, Linens and Towels provided. Interim housekeeping provided upon request. Wireless high-speed Internet access and full cable is included. This property will accommodate 6-8 adults.

Amazing vacation home!
We recently stayed at the Smiling Ibis. This was by far the best home we’ve ever rented. The home is immaculately clean. It is so comfortable with each bedroom having it’s own private bathroom. It’s just a short block to Duval St but far enough away so there is no noise. When we walked in we were shocked at how beautiful it was. The folks at Last Key made sure we had everything we needed. They left a treat for us in the fridge and let us know they were there for us anytime we needed. I would definitely stay again.
Not what I paid for and pictures are deceiving.
The pool was cold and we all got sick .

Next day people next door we’re running up and down stairs and was so noisy making my dogs bark . No parking
Was clean and nice,
I thought it was a superstructure unit with parking for over 5000
I cleaned everything and all towels and left next day.
This is the second time that I rent a home with Last Key Rental. Keith has been our concierge both time. The experience is wonderful from beginning to end. Very seamless and streamlined. The listing is accurate in every way. Keith got us a stove top espresso maker upon request. He also provided some goodies for our two dogs, which they loved. It is always a pleasure. Some recommendations to improve the experience: 1) there was a distinctive odor to the home (at first I thought it was new wood, but it may have been smoking from a previous tenant? -- it really agitated my allergies -- I could be wrong), 2) the second thing is the BBQ -- they should really be cleaned better -- old grease collects on the bottom and burns rather than cooks or grills, 3) the lights outside not all worked, 4) I would recommend curtains or shutters for the living room area door (goes to pool), and the 5) cleanliness of the pool. This is not a reflection of Keith, at all, as his customer service was/is superb. I would recommend the property to a friend, relative or colleague, but again, I hope my recommendations are considered (as they were similar to the previous home from last year too).
Thank you so much for this detailed review. Although we take great pride in our attention to detail, we do ultimately rely on our guests' feedback to make our homes as comfortable as they can be. This home has been deep cleaned and will continue to receive complete cleans of the interior and exterior (including the grill) for each stay. The sofa in the living room has been replaced along with many other furnishings that were ready for replacing. Our only concern for future guests is: if you find yourself wishing for anything (grill touch up clean, pool clean, curtains, etc) we hope you will tell us while you are here with us so we can address and make it right for you while you are here! :) We look forward to the next time this guest visits so we can show her ourselves.

Updated throughout. Very clean. Location was close to everything. Very roomy for my adult family of 5.
The Smiling Ibis in Old Own.... IS KEY WEST !!
First off, another shout out to Last Key Realty! This was our second visit to this same property, & just as last time, they took care of us so well, and we were so happy with our property host Keith, that we will never look anywhere else when returning to the island. This "Old Town" property has everything you could need: large main floor living/gathering area connected to a high-end kitchen with wide open floor-plan, well maintained rear deck & private pool, BBQ pit ready to fire up, fully stocked linen closet, and LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. We are literally a minute walk to Duval Street.
This place has it all, is always spotlessly cleaned & so welcoming, and you seriously cannot beat the price. Surrounded by a wide variety of bars & restaurants, finding a fun atmosphere for the day is a no-brainer. For a party of 7 adults were not overcrowded at all, and truly, the only thing that could that could make this property any better is if Duval Street was actually inside the house. Ha! Thanks a million Keith!!
This place has everything. Want to be close to action on Duval? Want elegance with affordability? Demand top notch concierge service? Check all those boxes and more. Keith & Shel were absolutely on top of our every need. We will certainly stay here again!
