This beautiful one-bedroom Gearhart condo is perfect for a romantic getaway or retreat to the beach with friends! The condo has spectacular ocean views, close to the beach and a golf course, and includes access to the complex's hot tub and pool.
Located in the Gearhart by the Sea complex with a pool and a hot tub, this condo is just a short walk from the beach and nearby golf course. Gearhart itself is just above Seaside, making it a quiet place to retreat to, but still close to nearby attractions and busier towns.
This clean, open condo complex with views of the town and the ocean offers entertainment amenities including WiFi, cable, and a DVD player.
Gaze at the horizon line while the wood stove warms the space and a full meal is cooked in the vintage kitchen with white appliances. Eat around the cozy dining table before heading out to the balcony for a bit of wine, or down to the hot tub for a soak before bed.
This is a one-bedroom condo, and can sleep four people comfortably in a queen bed and a pull out in the living room. The bathroom includes support beams for guests who may struggle with balance.
Take a drive with your friends to the Seaside boardwalk with shops and dining, or a little farther to Cannon Beach to visit Haystack Rock or Oswald West State Park for a hike and spectacular views. Downtown Gearhart is a peaceful seaside village with a few antique shops for browsing, a glass-blowing studio, a bakery for morning and afternoon pastries, and an old-fashioned grocery store.
Take your next romantic retreat or yearly getaway with friends and family to this Gearhart vacation rental.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s familys summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
It's a pretty cozy place to stay for a day or two. Had some minor issues with heating up the living room and some cleanliness in the kitchen sink and bathtub.
Apart from that it was a nice experience. Cozy bed
Beautiful view of the ocean.
Quite and a very Homely atmosphere.
We stayed here for my birthday weekend. Every year on this weekend we go to The Wheels and Waves Car Show in Seaside. Since Seaside is so busy and crowded this was a perfect location just minutes away from Seaside. It was quiet and comfy. Having The Sand Trap restaurant right across the street was also very nice. We had everything we needed for a perfect weekend. It was nice having the swimming pool right there too. The room was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Will absolutely stay here again.
I confess I was unenthused by the look of the condo on the website but since we'd decided pretty last-minute that we wanted to go to the beach for Labor Day, I went ahead and reserved. I'm so glad I did! The condo was perfectly functional, with plenty of nearly everything you'd need in the kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a sweet little balcony which allowed a view of the water though the condo is not *on* the water. The beach itself is an easy walk from the condo. Downtown Gearhart is less than a mile along a few quiet streets (and it has an excellent bakery and grocery store). The beach to the south does not allow cars although before too long you run into an impassable river so you can walk only so far in that direction. The beach seems popular for wedding parties which is a bit of fun. We didn't go to the golf course restaurant/bar across the way so I can't speak for its qualities.
We like to go to the Wheels and Waves car show in September every year. Seaside is crazy busy. Staying in Gearhart is just a few minutes away but is a world away offering quiet time and an awesome beach to play on.
We loved the condo and the area so the only thing that I would say that was lacking was the communication. In our initial email, it had stated that we would receive an email on the day of to inform us if we could check in early and that we would also receive an email the night before checking out to see if we could check out later. We never received any of these emails.
