Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
The place was in a very nice location. Don't forget your fishing poles and hiking boots! Also, the games were a huge hit.
My closest girlfriends and I stayed here with our children for our first annual friendaversary and could not have had a better weekend. In addition to the arcade games (which were a huge hit) the house was full of children's toys and books that the kids went crazy over. The scenery was beautiful, the home was welcoming and we spent the weekend relaxing in the company of friends. We look forward to booking this home next year for our second annual friendaversary!
Nice remote and beautiful location, but house in poor condition.
Ok, first of all I was torn about writing this review because if I keep it a secret maybe it wont be booked next time we want to go! It had something for everyone Hot tub, Pinball, Poker table, and a big screen tv and don't forget the river, what brought us there in the first place. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed except a pancake griddle, but I brought my own, but hey they had 3, yes 3 waffle makers! We didn't leave the property for the whole stay as there was so much to do there. The guys went to the River every day, My dog was in doggy paradise! Us girls hit the hot tub every morning ,and every night playing games! We had the best time making family memories. only a couple complaints, one of the beds was a little lumpy and the disposal in the kitchen didn't work (which I found out after I put leftovers down it.) also it could have been a little bit cleaner, as I went around the entire house knocking down cobwebs and it looked like bird poop was all over one window. And one recommendation I have is to label the light switches as there are many as we would run around trying to figure out what switch was for what! But those things were minor to us, as of all the other great qualities the property had. There was 8 of us and 1 dog, and everyone left HAPPY! We will be back, Thank you Silverton property. P.S. our youngest daughter told us we were going to have a grandchild in the spring on this trip!
The folks at Vacasa were top-notch! I called them a couple of times to ask questions and they either answered right away or got back to me in a timely manner. The house setting on the Molalla River was picturesque - and quiet. During the day we explored the river - some by foot along the river and some by car on the gravel road - and found some swimming spots - got 8-10' deep in some spots - of course you need to really watch for rocks - sometimes, you'll be swimming along and "Thunk!" there's a boulder you just ran into that you couldn't see because of the shadows or bright sunlight. You CAN see as it's a clear river, just have to hit the angles right. The house was clean - felt more like a cabin - nothing fancy but perfect for the river. It's spacious, has 4 older fun arcade games, a huge screen t.v., large deck w/lots of seating and a great outdoor cook area, a hot tub, a grassy area where we set up volleyball/badminton (which we brought). We had an awesome time! As did our dog! And the house did not smell of dogs NOR did it smell of perfumes to try and cover. At night, we sat out there and saw shooting stars, the Milky Way, satellites, and a bat here and there! Only had mosquitoes for a short part of the evening - maybe couple hours at dusk but a little bug spray sufficed. Guess the bats were doing their job! This place reminds you of how lucky we are to live in this beautiful state and why we need to protect our rivers. Thank you for a great weekend!
