There is off-street parking for one vehicle but you may consider leaving it home as an 8 minute stroll will find you amidst the Main Street Shops and there is a shuttle stop nearby for longer adventures and beach trips.

Enjoy Nantucket in a great location at a great price!

PLEASE NOTE: 7 Night minimum stay in July and August. If you would like a shorter stay, please consider spring or fall. The weather and shopping are still great!

My husband and I stayed here for a week last year and it was the perfect getaway. The apartment is in walking distance of everything, especially a great little bakery. The owners were very accomodating and offered up some great tips on where to dine. We hope to stay here again this year and are almost sorry to see our little hideway advertised as now we will have competition!

Owner didn't keep accurate availability on HomeAway calendar, and never responded

This review is not a comment on the apartment, which several others have said is great, and I have no reason to doubt. Rather, it is a cautionary tale. I booked this listing only a day ahead of my intended arrival, based on the open slots shown on the property's calendar. I never heard back from the owner. With HomeAway/VRBO's help, I was finally able to reach the owner via phone. She said the apartment was *not* available. She said she gets confused by the HomeAway website, and often doesn't properly mark the calendar, and in fact had rented it out (not through HomeAway) without updating the HomeAway web site.

At this point my wife and I had to scramble to find something else on Nantucket, and in fact we ended up having to stay an extra night on the mainland, shortening our time on the island, and complicating our travel.

Owner's Response: I am sorry to hear that you had a problem with the new on-line booking feature. As I explained when you phoned, VRBO has introduced a new on line booking feature which many of us (homeowners) have found to be difficult to manage. The new on-line booking is fashioned more like a hotel or major airline, where simply providing a credit card guarantees a reservation. The properties listed on this site are for the most part simply homeowners trying to rent their properties. In the case of my property, I am the one doing all of the work, from reservations to check in and housekeeping. Again, not a hotel. Just a homeowner. By the end of the busy season I sometimes don't have my on-line calendar up to date but I always know who has a reservation and who is arriving. Again, I am sorry that you had a bad experience with this new feature, however, as much as I don't like it either, VRBO does advise inquirers that nothing is confirmed until confirmed by the owner. But, yes, this is a "cautionary tale" and I hope that VRBO will take note and re-consider these new changes which have garnered thousands of complaints from both homeowners and renters. Again, I am sorry that this was a bad experience for you but glad that you were able to find another rental. As you can see from the website, all of my reviews have been very good and I take pride in my rental. I would welcome the opportunity to have you and your wife visit one day. But, please call me.

Christmas Stroll

We stayed at Deb & Kimbro's for the Christmas Stroll in December. There were four of us staying there with 2 comfortable bedrooms and an open living area. The apartment was warm and comfortable during this time of year. The location was a perfect for walking to the downtown festivities. Santa arrived on schedule via the Coast Guard cutter. Debbie suggested a few places to eat and shop. She, as usual, was most accommodating and gracious. She even picked us up at the ferry. I would recommend this property for the Christmas stroll. We also would stay there during the peak of the summer tourist season, if available.

Highly recommend

We stayed here just last week and loved everything about the place. Very clean, comfortable, fully-loaded with everything you need to cook meals at home. The location is great - quick walk to downtown and great restaurants; WAVE shuttle across the street if you prefer not to walk. Debbie was very accommodating and offered helpful suggestions. No doubt we will stay here again on our next trip to Nantucket!

Had a wonderful time

the location is perfect for walking to just about everything. Taxi was quick and easy for the further points. Nantucket is fairly easy to find your way around and if you love to walk this is the place for you. Debbie was very helpful but not intrusive. I asked for a screwdriver to fix something on my luggage and it was sitting outside the door when we returned. Very quiant and cozy apartment with everything you need, there is air conditioning but we never turned it on, with the windows open there was a nice breeze. there were 2 of us but it would be great for 4. Would love to return.

Excellent place to stay...5 stars

We stayed here with another couple for a wedding and cannot wait to come back. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us, we had all of the amenities of our own home, and it was very clean. This quaint cottage is walking distance from downtown and the owners are very accommodating. They provided us with an ironing board upon request and taxi contact information which was extremely helpful since this was our first time on the island. I would highly recommend this property and cannot wait to return. Thank you for making our stay so nice!

Great place to stay on Nantucket!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment! It was very clean and convenient to restaurants and shops. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, except to the beach. There are bike rentals for that. We were there for a wedding, however, so took a cab -- a quick ride to the beach. Everything is so beautiful there -- we would love to return, and would stay at the same place! Debbie was very helpful!
