The villa is located within Residencial Hispaniola, a beautiful gated community with 24-hour security, cable with 65 inch LED TV, electricity, water, and wireless internet. A team of fine artist and graphic designer based in NYC designed this modern two-story villa, including the furnishings. Each room is tastefully designed with a blend of zen and contemporary themes. The dynamic architectural details of this villa are one of the most unique ones you will find in this gated community. You can chill out in the villa's private swimming pool and enjoy the ocean view. This villa is great for couples that want to have a romantic getaway. The villa is a 10–15 minute walk from Sosúa town and beach, and its location is convenient for individuals or families with kids to explore the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. Some of the amenities within this gated villa community includes a tennis court, a basketball court and a large children's playground. We also offer the main floor as a three-bedroom rental option. The nightly rate for 3BR rental is US$195 + tax. The weekend nightly rate (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) for 3BR rental is US$225 + tax. Please note that the 3BR rental does not include the access to the pool table on the lower level floor. Daily maid service is provided to clean the villa and wash the dishes.
Residencial Hispaniola + Sosúa: Residencial Hispaniola is a gated community located with 24-hour security.
Getting around in Sosúa is very easy and many restaurants, bars, clubs are walkable distance.
The gated community of Residencial Hispaniola is fairly large so it will take about 8-10 minute walk from our villa to the security entrance.
But after you get out of Residencial Hispaniola, you just need to walk down the small hill about 5 minutes and you'll be at the main road. 1 block across from the main road is where you will find bars, restaurants, etc.
Sosua Beach is about 8 – 12 minute walk after you get out of Residencial Hispaniola. There is a large supermarket on the main road as well.
Residencial Hispaniola has many hills so it would be convenient to have a car especially if you're shopping.
There are many motor-bike taxis and regular taxis in Sosúa if you don't have a car.
Regular taxis can take you back to our villa but the motor-bike taxis are not allowed to enter the security gate so if you need a ride all the way back to our villa, take the regular taxi.
There are many public transportation options in Sosúa to take you to various towns such as Puerto Plata, Cabarete, Santiago and many others.

The house is as beautiful as the pictures are on here. I have stayed in Sosua numerous of times and in Residencial Hispaniola as well. This is by far one of the better homes in this community. Eli was very responsive if something went wrong at the house and it was taken care of right away. The maids are also wonderful and helpful if you needed help with anything around the house. It was an awesome time staying here in this house and will definitely stay here again.
Thank you so much for the kind words. Nagee. I also want to thank you for choosing our villa for your vacation in the DR. We take great pride in providing great service along with the villa, but we are committed to maintaining and improving the villa and our guest experience. We look forward to your future stays. Thank you again!
Very well designed and beautiful
The home is absolutely beautiful and spacious. I admired the home so much I was looking at ideas for my home in the U.S. The kitchens (yes, there are two kitchens) were nicely stocked. There was no need for us to go out and buy bottled water. The house was equipped with a purified water dispenser. There is no AC in the common living area. You have to open the patio doors and turn on the fan but it still gets very warm in the common living area. The housekeepers were very nice with great personalities (no English). The only minor flaw I could see was the downstairs bathroom. The downstairs bathroom was not as modern as the rest of the house. Another bad point, which is not the fault of the homeowner, is we had to go to the office at least four times to get new key cards because the issued key cards stopped working for whatever reason. Overall, this place was beautiful. The stone on the outside steps and poolside were absolutely beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.
Aaron, I want to thank you for taking the time to write positive comments about Villa 84 and for your suggestions where you believe we could improve. I also want to thank you for your review because feedback helps us to know what we got right but it is vital in our ability to address any issues that are not working as best they could. Your comments and ideas for the lower level bathroom and the key concerns are greatly appreciated. I will work on both issues and hopefully have them resolved before your next stay.
Thanks again, we truly value your feedback.
My stay was a amazing , only thing I would confirm whether or not the property has centra air.
Great time in this villa and DR
Awesome!!!!!!! MUST SEE FOR YOURSELF!!
The place was amazing! The pictures are a direct representation of the place. The pool and maid come every morning to make sure everything is okay and working properly. I would definitely stay here again! Everything listed about this place is accurate. We took advantage of playing baseball with kids in the local park. Very close to bars and clubs. Day activities can be planned at an agency location right in town.
Security is very tight! One night me and my friends decided to stay in and chat until about 3am. Apparently we were talking too loud so security came to tell us to keep it down. The strange thing is that we were only talking, not playing loud music so it was interesting to get a noise complaint. Because the area is poor, security will be watching the premises but they will not disturb you so don't be too alarmed if you see them watching from the distance. They are only there for your protection. Last thing is the hot water must be turned on by a switch in the kitchen. If you don't turn the switch on there will be no hot water.
Definitely...My choice for "Home away from Home"
Friends and I stayed in this beautiful villa for more than 2 weeks. Everything about it surpassed our expectations... from the immaculate and breath taking landscaping to the friendly customer service we received from everyone throughout our stay. The villa is very clean and close to downtown Sosua. We could not ask for anything more. I will schedule my return around the availability of this villa. I recommend it as a first option to anyone vacationing in the area. Thanks Eli for sharing your home.
Very Comfortable and Very Clean
I want to thank Eli for allowing my family to reside at his beautiful villa. The villa was immaculate and spacious. The grounds were safe and quiet. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone. We wish we could've stayed longer.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of staying at our Villa. We are happy to hear that it's been positive and we will continue to work hard to maintain and improve the amenities and the service. Thank you again, I really do appreciate it.
Other Activities: go kart | bumper car park (about 20 minute drive to Puerto Plata direction) Monkey Jungle + Zipline Adventure (about 20 minute drive into Choco Road)
