Love the location within two blocks of Loose park and only a short drive from the plaza district. Quiet street, yet near to everything. The house is nicely remodeled and decorated well. Great experience!
My friends & I take a "baseball trip" every summer....Explore a different city, check a ballpark off our list.
This was our 11th trip, and I must say that staying at this house made it one of the best! It is perfectly located in historic Brookside neighborhood, and just 1 mile from Country Club Plaza. It was an extremely easy drive to Kauffman Stadium (about 15 mins, no interstate). I enjoyed jogging at Loose Park every morning, such a beautiful area. The house itself was extremely comfortable. There were 5 people in our group, and we had plenty of space in the house. The home has been updated, and looks great. Quiet street, but a few mins away from anything you need, or anything you want to do. The next time we come to KC, we will definitely stay here!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during the week of Thanksgiving. The 1920's home is nicely decorated, comfortable, well cared for and meticulously clean. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped for holiday cooking. We walked to Brookside's neighborhood shops and restaurants and to Loose Park just a block from the house. Best of all, family members could walk back and forth between our rental and our daughter's home just a few blocks down the street. The owner was very easy to work with, both before the trip and after we arrived. We plan to rent the same place the next time we visit Kansas City.
This was the first place we stayed as we moved to Kansas City, and we are SO GLAD we chose it!
A fully equipped kitchen means you can choose whether you want to eat out on the Plaza just to the north or pop over to the Brookside Price Chopper for provisions. The screened-in side porch was a great way to enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood. And Google Fiber sure is handy for researching the area, keeping up on e-mail, or just finding a great movie to watch after a long day.
With three bedrooms, this would be a fantastic way to have lots of space for a family of 3-6. With all the updates in the house and very friendly and responsive owners, you will have no worries about your stay.
Had our family TG here and it was just like being at home. We had everything we needed for our dinner and room for all. The home is clean, well equipped and perfect location. Great screened porch and outside area so hope to return when weather is warmer.
We loved this place!! It is exactly like the description. It was very clean, very well equipped. The location is perfect it's such a beautiful historic area. The parks are close, the plaza is close. It is pet friendly and our dogs are part of our family. Their are two off leash dog parks 10 minutes away. We also enjoyed being able to record some of our favorite shows to watch later. The owner LeeAnn was great to work with, responded to emails very quickly. We would highly recommend this house, book early because as soon as word gets out about how fantastic this place is it will be book quickly. It is well worth the money!
